Loved to see one of my favorite series animated. is arata's VA the same one as kirito? If it is then i will have quite the dissonance with kirito's voice and arata's personality :eyespin:

Good news. Generally bad reviews.

I really did not like Arata being voiced by Kirito's VA, it doesn't fit his character. Well, aside from some funny jokes between the Headmaster and Arata that they cutted, the first episode was well done.

Nice first episode.
Though I REALLY wished they kept Arata and the Headmaster's funny exchange.
Actually, my only problem so far is that I expected them to adapt it in a more comical atmosphere.

They didn't properly do the "Meet them, beat them, violate them" gag or include Lilith's awesome comebacks. Arata and the Headmaster didn't even hit it off properly! Do you know how hard it is to force yourself to laugh at an animated scene when you know the written version is a whole lot better.

Good to know. To use an expression I've read on 4chan (not really any better than ANN, but it usually gets stuff like spoilers and raws the fastest), the writer was probably a Social Justice Warrior, then. :heh:

I don't think it's a spell so much as a misunderstanding based on his subconscious reaction to her.

It's been mentioned that Arata and Anna are apparently "Worst enemies", so it's possible that his "fight or flight" response is going off and he just doesn't know why.

I thinking that many series this season are rushing a little too far... I wonder why.. But I do like T7 to have the comical parts since they are really good =w=

Not really much rushing with T7 since the first few chapters of the manga are like this as well, though they still managed to cut parts out.
