Much like last week, this episode covered nicely the events of the past. There is much less "time jump" and things go on a smooth pace, though they really skipped many thoughts and such (especially Rika's Mother and Takano)
That said, The "offer of the demon" in the part C was nice, as they had the good idea to hire Tanaka Rie (Suigintou Seiyuu) to voice the "mysterious" woman, offering this devil's deal.
I'm fairly curious how they will cover the last "pieces" episode, but they CAN involve the real "last piece"... (this person's will, with his anger... huhuhu)

I'm just wondering of something: why did they introduced Koizumi "issue" and the "deal" already? This was supposed to happen AFTER the murder of Houjou Tamae.
I don't think it is a time jump, so either a retcon, or they screwed the timeline.

10 because Darth Suigintou turned Takano into her apprentice, now Darth 34 shall unleash the full fury of the force on those mofos who laughed at her.

Wow. This episode covered a lot.

Good epsiode, but some elements are just sped up too fast, it's more like they are trying to get their points across instead of telling a story...especially for the events that involves the 2nd and 3rd year of Oyashirosama's curse...

As for Suigitou's appearance...I don't know if she's suppose to appear this early, but I guess since they are just jumping back and forth on the timeline then it's okay.

Next epsiode should be about 4th year and onwards...there's still alot of material they havn't covered yet...

the problem with the "suigintou" appearance is that... no it isn't a time jump.
Koizumi's "issue" appeared just right after 1980 case, when Takano is laughing crazily
Therefore, we can assume they changed the timing or they screwed up.

Not sure of the impact of this change, but it is very weird.

Obviously it's the timing. They aren't going entirely in chronological order

16 skipped Irie's past and Rika's dad explaining the syndrome. 17 went back and showed them. I'm sure 18 will go back and fill in the holes.

They didn't jump back, but they obviously jumped forward to introduce her...

then again, the whole Koizumi death-> lost of support -> mysterious woman in car order of event really doesn't matter if it happened after 3rd or 4th year...

The Raw is LARGE

I hadn't read/played anything for Matsuribayashi-hen so this was an interesting ep. Seeing Rika's parents was interesting, as well as Miyo's last failure that drove her to desperation.

I wish they had just shown Irie's past

Irie past would probably chunk like 5-10 minutes... i guess the mere mention was already "good"... well, sorta

After seeing how they portrayed THAT woman, I have to say

What with all this laughter Takano has been doing you would think SOMEONE would be pretty suspicious of her.

No one is around her when she loses her cool and acts like that

And I thought all villans never looked around before announcing thier evil plans/laughing maniacally.


Oh yeah and a good episode I wonder whats up with mizz silver.

Nice episode. I liked this one more that the previous, but the problem is, it seemed a bit too fast. I found the second and third year curses to be happening a bit too suddenly. Hopefully, more holes will be filled in ep 18. I'm totally looking forward to knowing the motives of the mysterious woman (and nice voice work, "Suigintou"!)

Can't wait for the preview to come!
