Never thought fripSide could pull the opening off, or Yoshino Nanjou being a good singer, but she is, and they did.

The song itself is standard fripSide material, which in turn is another way of saying that it's good. Now here's to awaiting the ED next episode.

Yes, while my initial impression of it was that it was quite bland, I now like it a lot. I'm still trying to figure out why.

Sounds very 90's opening-ish...kind of like Slayers almost. It's strange because the other show I checked for this season so far had a 90'sish sounding OP/ED as well. If Darker Than Black 2 has that sound as well then I'm almost going to be tempted to think they are coming back.

Was about to say the same thing. There was that instant nostalgic attraction the moment I heard this song.

I see I'm not the only one thinking of Slayers.

... Come to think of it, I've been re-running slayers lately, that might explain why I suddenly liked the OP. :heh:

Just heard the full TV version of Dear My Friend. I'd have to say the ED is quite good, though not exactly my style. I still prefer the OP. The video part doesn't feature much, but the style is clean and simple. I like it.

I think I like Railgun OP&ED more than Index :)) fripside & ELISA did a good job, their songs fit the anime perfectly.
