Er, how so? The red marks you've marked are only showcasing the parts used for the Epyon's beam sword.

I'm not good at explaining things here, but notice how the parts are seperate in a total different frame.

As any experience modellers knows, Bandai usually do this when they want to resue some parts while putting in new ones.

Ouch @ dalong's broken heat rod. I'm building mine right now, so I'll be extra careful.

White Epyon? Sounds interesting, but I'll reserve judgment until some decent images comes out. Something about Epyon swinging around a beam trident seems odd to me.

It's more of a case of how you bend it.

For those of you guys that build gunpla(most of you guys here I would hope) If you are in the Southern California area this weekend, Anime Expo is happening and there are two gunpla contests that will be help here: http://thosegundamguys.org/2011/06/2...ers-world-cup/

So for you builder, enter the contests you qualify for and check out the Gundam 00 movie and come to the gunpla building seminar presented by me!

New images for the HG AGE-1 Normal:

While the rifle may look completely different, it's mechanism is actually quite identical to the 00 Gundam Seven Sword's GN Sword II Long, though without the blade. Also, took me a while to notice that the blue parts of the shield actually form an "A", along with the shape of the rear spoiler. :heh:

There's always Otakon which is held in Baltimore Maryland. There will be two contests at that event too.

In October, there will be the Gunpla Builders World Cup competition in the New York Comic Con/Anime Festival.

You're right. Good call.

That broken heatrod is the one thing preventing me from buying this model for now. I'm wondering whether to sand those joints to loosen it, or to just remove the ball joints and put a wire through it.

A basic idea of how Epyon Bai would look.

it actually look pretty damn good. once i receive my Epyon, i could try to use the non-grade one to paint, lol

I was honestly thinking about doing that to an Epyon too, but buying 2 Shenlongs just for the dragon claws seems like a waste of money

You could wait for the already-proven inevitable official MG release.

The only thing it has in common with the Hi-Nu (that other MS don't also share) is the color scheme.
