By the way, anyone else find the release of the HG Astray a little odd? I mean, I understand Bandai is trying to ride on the SEED HD releases and all, but - what line is it going to fall under? The old HG SEED line? What style will the kit be in? (Heavy use of polycaps, etc?)

It'll still fall on the old HG Seed line, numbering wise. I think it'll have the updated joints like 00 and Age's. I mean, it's a new kit after all and updating it is the best option.

I wonder if this means new HG SEED kits. Was the M1 Astray ever released under the old HG SEED line? We haven't had a kit from that line in years. (Excluding the HD re-releases, of course.)

in fact the HD Seed for HG1/144 have been renumbered under Rxx where xx is the number for the HD line

This is the second NEW 1/144 High Grade seed kit after the 1/144 HG Lagowe.
The M1 astray was only released as a 1/144 No grade kit back in the seed years. You must have been on a long vacation :D

the previous line only has HG 1/144 BuCUE which release pretty late of the line, so yea Lagowe & M1 Astray is a new mould
