You do not use matte for that, you use gloss

Also check if the metalic spray is enamel or lacquer, if it's lacquer metalic then use lacquer coat. If it's enamel metalic use enamel coat

Depends on the type of paint and what you want to do with it. Tamiya's Metallic Gold and Metallic Silver sprays are absolutely not meant to be topcoated, and most metallic spray paints will actually indicate whether you can or can't topcoat over them.

On the other hand I've used Dullcote on hand-brushed Metallic Blue and liked the effect it gives.

I haven't used Mr Hobby Rough Gold, so not sure how that would look with gloss or dull coat..

Soooo over the weekend, at the Gunpla Expo here in Malaysia, I bought a ReZEL Commander. I wasn't planning on buying it, but it kinda happened.

There were a couple of reasons for that:

1) I'd been meaning to get the ReZEL Commander anyway

2) The price was okay

3) You needed to buy a Gunpla in order to get it autographed by Meijin Kawaguchi.

Will post pic later of the autographed box. Totes forgot to get my manual autographed, orz.

Autographing went something like this:

Meijin: *sighs*

Me: "Moeagare gunpla!"

Meijin: :D *fist pump*

Me: XD *thumbs up*

I hope MG Double-X won't get cancelled. Seriously, these MGs can still got cancelled even after being displayed in Gundam Expo or similar exhibition/fair/con, so...fingers crossed (remember Gafran, F-90, AGE-3 Normal & AGE-FX?).
