hey have you done this before? how long does it usually take for them to reply your mail?

I emailed them to confirm whether the situation was still valid but didn't process the order as I had no need to order any spare parts. They usually get back to you within 2 working days.

I know logic dictates that it will be compatible(They look exactly the same) but I just wanted personal confirmation rather than me assuming beforhand and be surprised for the worst later. Thanks for the confirmation,Lowegear.:)

Just collected my HG Trans-Am Raiser today from TFH, the parts are all the same, the only difference it's the molded color and finish.

And it's time to work on the GN Sword III into standard colors. I will probably try and post a few screens when it's done start of next week.

Wow,0-Raiser looks even more like a fighter jet now......

By the way,all one needs to do is order the magazine online when it comes out right?I'm fairly inexperienced in magazine kits.

With the XN raiser, is it still possible to attach the "wings" of the 0 raiser on to the GN drives?

Apparently so. The XN-Raiser can dock with the 00 Gundam in two different ways. The one shown results in the XN-00 Gundam. The other, which attaches the XN-Raiser in the same manner as the 0-Raiser, results in the 00 XN-Raiser.

i just ordered a couple of cheapie gundam seed destiny kits and the marker set to go along. i hope that's a good choice for my first ones. i've never made models of anything before.. ahh i can't wait to get them!

if i'm alright at it i definitely want to check out a bigger 00 model.

While I'm still not sure on the differences between the XN 00 Gundam and the 00 XN Raiser, the drives docking is not one of them:

As you can see, both versions have their GN Drives exposed.

Oh. Huh. Didn't even notice that the lineart and the model picture were of two different things.

They're not hard, just be sure to trim the edges down and wipe off the excess for the markers.

Yeah, it's removable. I just left it on out of laziness ;)
But I gonna say one thing... this kit is just gorgeous for the High Grade.

acsrad 2009-05-19 04:41

hrm. what do you mean by wipe off the excess for the markers? got myself a grey marker about a month back, and its behaving quite strangely now. when i open the cap, the nib has these black lines and spots on it, other than the grey paint, and after i shake the pen, the nib seems to come out a bit like its loose. :( happened to any of you guys before?
