Well it's will look better if the modeler use MG Exia as a base for the remodeling the kit.
NG 1/100 is easier to customize :p

GrahamAker 2010-03-24 09:10

i am back with a bang and with something mouthwatering!

C.A. 2010-03-24 09:33

Awesome stuff, though the Fin arrangement is more Hi-Nu Gundam.

Dynamite 2010-03-24 10:46

Well I think thats the look the person was actually going for.
The color scheme is that of the Nu's, and the bazooka is from the Nu too.

So I got a commission from a local distributor to build put together the two HYGM kits. A little cutting of some flash, some sanding, all in all fun to do. The real fun comes with the photography...

So here's part of part 1: http://gamerabaenre.com/?p=1012

Tonight we'll be working on the decals stickers and getting the Zeek up...

wow that thing is massive. What are you going to do with it besides the decals and stickers? Put some shading or weathering to it?
I guess you will have to use sorta like a felt marker for panel lining huh? lol Looking forward to seeing the end results. :)

so models that size do exist. one pipedream of gundam models ive had was to own a blitz gundam around that scale. it would take up alot of space but it would look so cool. id love to see a deathscythe hell custom that size with glowing eyes but im afarid it would probably give someone a heart attack to see it :heh:.

LoneWolfFenrir 2010-03-25 02:47

It even gives you instructions to build your own. ;)

X207 2010-03-25 11:38

nice find. i want to make the SD akatsuki. did you build any yourself? if so was it hard to do so. im guessing some origami skills are required to build those.

RAVNEN 2010-03-25 11:46

Finally finished the HG 1/144 Masurou,a great kit only with minor problem.I even put the gauntlet on it left arm.:D I just hate ball joints. Wow nice Reborns gundam mod, hopefully that guy do mod the upcoming I Gundam Kai too..XD

Spoiler for MG Exia Exia Trans-Am:

Damn you Bandai...........I'm actually persuaded to get this before I'm getting normal MG Exia. And I didnt feel the need to rush that one at all.

GundamMeisterLockon 2010-03-25 13:11

i am not a fan of the transparent or see through armour thing in model kits but i do like those see through playstations .

But i guess some of our engineering lovers would like to see the parts and examine its every detail.

SonicSP 2010-03-25 13:19

I'm not a fan of it myself actually infact I hate it usually, but it feels like it fits extremely well here, not to mention its not fully transperant either.Just in the right places,it feels like an a good impression of Trans-Am,rather than a special "see through" version of a normal model kit.The transperency is dazzling too in this case, because it generates a weird hallucination effect on the eyes, not the exact way as real Trans-Am but it does dazzle it a bit.

Man.......I did not expect an MG in my budget near future...this is so going to make me broke........>__>

GameraBaenre 2010-03-25 13:43

My friends and I got the Zaku built, took some pictures with the Gundam doing random things, then did the stickers for the Gundam....

Blog post: http://gamerabaenre.com/?p=1016

Just the pictures: http://gamerabaenre.com/1_12_gundam_commish.htm

SonicSP 2010-03-25 15:46

I................never knew that Gundam needed to do such things.

Well,I guess top military secrets.........are top military secrets.

Good job, wish it has panel linings though.
