Call me crazy, but the icon seems to be of Asakura Ryoko rather than Tsuruya.

I still haven't figured out her popularity though I was enlightened enough to add a gif after an unauthorized borrowing of a Pelli-made Tsuruya gif. Then again, I don't think I'm supposed to understand a typical Haruhi fan. Most of em' are clinically insane after all.

How embarassing it is for CrowKenobi to mistake Ryoko for Tsuruya.

I think if there's one character we can't resist, it's Tsuruya-san.

Tsuruya is really that fun character, and I'd say a reminder to the viewers that normal people exist in this world who can be dynamic on their own. Or there are people who can be helpful without getting involved. The only flaw with her is because she isn't an official member of the SOS-Dan, she doesn't appear very often. But, she's just so wonderfully dynamic. And even though this is from a doujin, she has Haruhi's personality and energy along with Mikuru's cuteness. (And don't deny it, Tsuruya drips with cute qualities.)

I still love that part where she bust out laughing to Mikuru's movie lines I crack up every time, and what's more we might get to see it again, tommorow woo hoo.

well not really that was my 1st impression of her though but now it's more unlikely... she's just a really rich normal human... her family could potentially build a sliding machine lol.

... For the record... if Tsuruya were a Transformer, I believe she'd turn into a ROFLcopter. :p

I like the spin off Tsuruya's more than the cannon Tsuruya since one is Nyoron~! Too cute to resist for smoked cheese and the other one does martial arts.

Also bought 2 Tsuruya figures just to give Emiri a body. Who wants my extra Emiri head? lol j/k I got plans for that head. :p
