Kinda hard to tell but it might be a action RPG with the same (or similer) game mechanics as tales of or its a turn based RPG.

Yeah, I was thinking to something like a Star Ocean RPG battle system or at the very least a Final Fantasy battle system.

I hope it follows the events of the story but you can change certain things like romancing one girl or another.



But I too am hoping for a normal RPG based system but given the nature of being swords only there might be a bit of a button bash to get combos up and such.
