In the end it is nice that we've got the real continuation of the story finally airing.
Spoiler for Episode 1 and 2:
|
Shouldn't this be in the Current Series forum already?
|
I pity Jericho. She's basically a third wheel at this point.
|
ep1
really well done, the animation seems to be as good as in S1, now i cant waitt for the fights to happen  |
EP-4:
Finally someone shows up with the power level of OVER 9000!!!!!!!!11111 Meliodas and company are in sooooooo much trouble..... |
Holy Shit, I thought the anime would be censored due to be broadcasting 6:30 am on a channel that is neither At-X or WOWOW, but drug, Meliodas vs. Galand was brutal.
Japan really is a strange country |
This was great. Seeing Galand animated and in action is a blessing.
I love how they captured the violence of the fight too. Personally, I think it's important since it gave the impression of powerful the Ten Commandments really are. |
omg, Galand is a monster. He single-handedly wiped out everyone. Not muh Merlin ;____;
|
damn the power difference between galand and everyone else was insane. I like how he basically destroyed half of the city with one swing. Time for training arc now i guess.
|
Why is it that every time I watch some fight involving many of the people from Meliodas' group, they are always caught with their pants down? I am aware that Meliodas is gimped one way or another, but it's almost laughable to see them take on enemies that have a huge gap in power and rely on someone else to kill the threat or weaken the enemy enough for Meliodas' team to get the killing blow.
They have one of the worst matchmaking experienced than any of the other shounen shows I have watched. |
Man, this whole memory erasing shit Gowther is doing is annoying. Sure, we're got some backstory with Diane and the clan; but this is such a cheap way of doing it imo.
|
Well at least Gowther is consistent in being a royal pain in the rear. Nothing he did here really surprises me or seems out of character for him. Just reflects how a lack of emotion or empathy can create a really dangerous individual.
At least it was a good time to delve into Diane's backstory a bit. Has had quite the tricky time of it from when she was with King to even getting back to her people. Matrona really had a rough perspective and I don't think it was helping the giant clan at all. But she's hardly the only one with that problem. The giants as a whole kind of seem lost. They didn't have the demon clan as a clear threat so they just kind of got involved in whatever fights they could find. |
I seriously wonder why this show does not get more attention. It's definitely one of the best series right now. The stories always surprise me, and things aren't very predictable.
With this newest episode, I'm wondering what will happen to Elaine? Her soul has been corrupted. Will she have a chance for true recovery, or will she actually be permanently dead after this? Also, King has always annoyed me, but he's brought it up another level now. So the skinny bartender at the end is the last Deadly Sins member? LOL |

And yeah, I agree. It doesn't help that no streaming service in the US picked the show up for simulcasting. |
Anime reached the parts of the manga were looking forward.
