Jō Taketsuki's original light novels centers around Godō, an ordinary high school student who kills a god and claims its powers. As a result, Godō becomes a Campione who slays other gods.

The promotional poster also notes that the third issue of Shueisha's Super Dash & Go! magazine will bundle a drama CD written by Taketsuki on February 25. The same magazine is also serializing the Campione! manga adaptation by Jirō Sakamoto.

The one voicing Godou doesn't have many roles on his resume.

Yeah, and it's mostly supporting roles. I guess he's a newcomer considering all his roles are in recent animes.

I so hope it'd be 24-26 episodes anime. If it's 12 then they'd have cut out a lot from LN to fit vol. 5 for sure. :(

Yeah .. 2cours anime will be perfect if Ena is introduced, I don't really want another way since the third volume actually pretty important considering it's a story about how Godou became a Campione (although it's not complete) .. Besides, the results of packing 4 volumes (if we discard volume 3) into 12 episodes isn't that great either, the story will get much cut and too fast paced ..

Any details about Ena? I'm stuck with Bakatsuki translations...

who is the guy that has a big sword?

Umm, if it's BIG, it's probably Salvatore, he's called King of Swords for a reason (he's an utter genius with spears, you know). Also, I think he's the only god-level being except for Godou to use swords that we know of, or rather that we have illustrations of.


Edit: I was wrong, there are one or two more guys who also wield swords a bit but that's just it. A bit. And those swords shouldn't be exceedingly large, unlike Salvatore's... which he carries around with himself wherever he goes (!!!)
