Shane is a little to much of a "hey this is a great place to hole up, let's STAY here and not journey out because we're safe here and I'm in charge" types. In other words he's too much of a play it safe type and opportunist. Least thats my opinion of him.

Episode 6 was excellent.
The wine part was hilarious.
Imo , Shane saved Rick's life back at the hospital , he did the right thing. He believed that he was dead , he protected his family. But , now that Rick is back , it's a forbidden love...
Question , what happened to Shane's family btw ?

I'm also suprised that they mentionned France ^^
Wow , if Rick didn't grabbed the grenade , they'll be all in peace.
So , it's the end for season one. Have to wait months/year for next.

Finally saw this series in a 6 hour marathon on Fox Asia! (I taking a break FYI)

Very good and suspenseful. It's a good thing i haven't read the comics so i'll won't expect anything.

Now that the CDC place is gone, i wonder if the survivors are going to that Army Fort they mention before. And i wonder what happen to that racist older brother and the father and son from the 1st episode?

While a full listing of the extra materials on the Blu-Ray/DVD have not been released (besides the standard ‘Making Of' segments, Audio Commentaries and Behind-the-Scenes footage), March 8, 2011 is the official release date.

^ Definetly! But I hope with the talk of firing all of the writers the show doesn't lose it's grittiness or it's paceing. The last episode seemed rushed to me!

Read the comics Linda. Seriously. I went through 79 chapters in two days. I was hooked, and it was way better than the series. :)

Not feeling this way yet about Walking Dead (although I'm sure it'll hit me sooner or later), but I know how you feel when it comes to Breaking Bad (another AMC show).

At least with that wait the end is in sight. Still it has been a long enough wait already and it is killing me. Gotta watch the first two seasons again to get me pumped.

Cool, they moved the show up by 2 weeks (it was originally going to air 10/30, now it will air 10/16).

Does anyone know who the music is in the 2nd half of the trailer?
