I liked it. I'm glad that Black Rock Shooter is a Miku song popular enough to get material in different media.
Delicious midriff, flatness and black twintails that is Black Rock Shooter, if I tolerated the previous anime with the melodramatic bitches for that, I'm definitely gonna stick with this one. Specially because this Terminator apocalyptic-like world remembers me of the world of the PSP game which I loved. Also, this one have Strength.

Nah. The OVA and TV series are not that bad. The OVA is written by Nagaru Tanigawa. The BRS world is called fantasy world. The first TV series retelling of the OVA. The BRS world is called illusion world. Later, the both series changed the names to Inner World. In the world, BRS does speak any word.
There is some difference between the PSP game and the second TV series. I also played PSP game, but I got stuck in the level where BRS rides motorcycle. It is one of the reasons that I avoid racing game. In the PSP game, White Rock Shooter and her minions leads robot armies to invade Earth. The surviving soldiers awake BRS in her casket. The BRS is the human clone. In the second TV series, BRS and her friends are suggested as the genetic modified human. The PSP game is like War Hammer 40K, and the TV series 2 is like Matrix and Metal Gear(The first scene with newspaper article describing "Nano machine").
Yeah. Ryo's nico nico douga music made BRS famous. Originally, Huke published a twintail girl's picture called "Shooting 20 rocks per second". Ryo's lyric started with "Black Rock Shooter, where are you?" So, the girl became known as Black Rock Shooter. Huke's pictures has a lot of dark background. Both OVA and TV series follow this color scheme. While only Ryo's song detailing character background, the music video was already popular enough on Nico Nico. It was popular for Good Smile to release PVC figure and Ordet to release OVA.
