I'll be eagerly waiting to read on the takes. Those have been far more interesting than the show itself. :D

Actually, ever since I read about Ritsu's Clingy Jealous Girl act, I don't know what to expect from the anime anymore.

I do: Complete and utter social deconstruction of the band; Lord of the Flies, on stage

If anything it'd be at the end of the 13th episode, I'd think.

Er.... that wasn't what I was looking for in the series though.

it is not out yet, so about my expectations...

1) a live perfomance longer than 10 min with maybe 3 songs (i know it wont happen)

2) they all graduated and get into the same university and join the same club again (haha)

3) announce when is the next season

If it doesn't end with an epic preformance then it damn better have a Planetarian anime adaptation preview at the end.

Wow, I can't believe this is already ending...

I am hoping for a good performance at the school festival, all the band songs we've heard so far (besides the opening and the ending songs) are pretty average... Let's see how far they can go this time.

Well, gentlemen, it's been a good run. Now all that's left is to wait for game time.

The title is kind of an error, no disrespect meant.

According to the latest edition of Newtype (the one with Asuka on the cover), there is going to be an Episode 13 next week. ;)

Seeing as the expectation is that the next episode is a special and may or may not continue the story/timeline, I think the title of this thread is correct. Episode 12 should conclude this particular arc and the next one (13) might be an epilogue or (my hope) a music-focused episode with PVs, like the one in episode 6, or concert scenes like episode 8's.

This episode was announced in the previous one's preview as being the last. Hence, whatever comes afterwards is supposed to be a bonus...

I get the feeling that if there is a "music-focused episode with PVs", it will probably be episode 14 that has them. Granted I could be wrong.

I suspect that episode 12 will essentially be a merger of Volume 2 Chapter 11, Volume 2 Chapter 12, and maybe some original content. Thus I have a pretty good idea what to expect story wise.

It's just a matter of how much time gets spent on each chapter, how they're adapted and what the original content ends up being like. Although I get the feeling the original content will probably boil down to random scenes to show us that life goes on and stuff like that.

Based on past experience with other shows like this I wouldn't expect anything "grand" from the episode. What you'll get is an episode that fits into the spirit of the series itself.

This is exactly my line of thought going into this.

Aw man, the series is ending to fast for me. I'm so used to watching longer series, like Clannad or Keroro Gunso.

I hope there's some new anime coming out after K-ON! (Preferably "Little Busters", like many people seem to be hoping for).

Ah, but in the K-on Column of Episode Screening Times for the Month, K-On Episode 13 isn't listed as "Final Episode" (or 最終話 in Kanji), but actually as "Episode 13." Newtype ALWAYS lists the final episode of a series as 最終話 as opposed to their numerical designation.

And having actually obtained the synopsis and screening times from the TV networks, Newtype is infallibly accurate about this.

Meaning there is going to be at least more than 13 (and hopefully another 13 more, if they are following the half-year 24-26 Ep formula) episodes of wacky adventures with the lovable girls of the Light Music Club.

For those who are still anxious, yes there will be an extra episode (preview indicates so). As mentioned before, this week's episode is just the "finale" plot wise, but there will be a thirtheenth episode.

I was also expecting this accompanied by a flashback montage.
In any case, that song was originally intended for Yui, so I guess it's okay that they gave her time to shine.

Also, my Spider-sense is telling me episode 13 is just going to be an episode of f*cking around with no music.

Ah, so we get a mixture of chapter 10, 11, and 12 from volume 2. In any case, I found the episode to be over all fitting for the series and a decent way to end it. Well in the context of the show itself.

Well just watched it and I thought it was a good final episode. :)

Love the new song and Yui's version of Fuwa Fuwa Time.

Wish there'd be a 2nd season. :p

I'm sure you don't even need a falling star for that; With the manga still ongoing, I'm sure there will still be plenty source material to start making a second season within a year or so... ;)

I wonder how many will be depressed and commit suicide after this season ends....based on Sankaku opinions lots of NEETS and anime freaks have all their life into this.

My suggestion.....buy a dakimakura of this and infatuate yourself with it. On a different note glad this show is over....too much MOE AND NOT WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY NOT ENOUGH MUSIC! Who cares about the wait. Who cares about Yui MOE AND ALL OTHER CRAP! Music is music and nothing more.

OHHHHHHHH...original + manga was quite good. Really awesome episode... so sad it's over. Wait, still got an OVA coming... CAN'T WAIT!!! Oh, I can't help but feeling this everytime I watch Yui and Ui (TWINS BORN A YEAR APART!) but they're sooo awesome together and Yui is just super cute.

Is Sawa-chan rubbing off on Mio or is Mio's true personality slowly surfacing?
