This is so fucking awesome it's not even comparable to anything else in recent history (lolexaggeration).

Denpa concept + Shinbo directing + Iruma Hitoma story + Burik original art = WHOAWTF/0 ... is what I would like to say, but seeing how this is soooooo slice of life, it will turn out most likely similar to Sorademo Machi, which means YEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHx100000000000 to infinity.

Also, I hope we get cast info before the next issue of Dengeki Bunko Mag comes out (Feb 10) because that's just wayyyyy long down the road @___@.

EDIT: Lol @ Kizu, as long as Nisio pumps out new books I don't care how freaking long SHAFT takes, if by the end of next year when the entire monogatari series is over and there is still no news on Kizu then ...

Can't say I'm a fan of Shaft or Shinbo, but oh well. Still looking forward to this.

SHAFT/Shinbo brought my enthusiasm down. Haven't really enjoyed their works as of late and I fear this will be the case, too.

I will probably watch this show in the end, though I'm hoping they treat Buriki's original designs with great care, which is probably the one thing I wanted to see done well regardless of the staff.

I just went ahead and downloaded the raws of the first 6 volumes of the light novel (Only to appreciate the art because I can't read japanese and have no intention to learn anytime soon).

And man...the art is very, very nice. I would be happy if the anime designs are half as good.

The art is good and the story...
If you have seen his previous work "usotsuki miikun to kowareta maachan", you will know his style.
It is a slice of life show but an usual one. Nonetheless, I think this one is better than his previous work.
