One more noobie Q: How do I paint those clear transparent parts into transparent blue, transparent red.. |

MSIA has spoiled me rotten. |

Some bling out their SFreedom. I never knew there was a self applied gold spray set though. |
I prefer HG 1/144 because of my pocket limitations... but they're still good nonetheless :)

Thanks,Only the gold parts are painted, The difference between the two are Gold plating on the FBM, Blue clear stand with dragoon holders, different decals and the extra poster. The normal Sf is just the kit with 1 eight point stand. |

damn i want a SF full burst, but its so damn expensive, i live in australia and my local hobby shop stocks it for $170 (i can buy two MGs and maybe a 1/144 HG with that ><) |

i think that explains alot. depending on what effect you want. i live in sydney and the only ones of these paints which are avaiable to us locally are - Alclad II Lacquer Chrome., Mr Color (top row middle), Mr Color (middle row, middle) and the Tamiya Spray. From this guide i found out that Tamiya doesnt give a metal finish, its jsut gives the color. I would recommend using Alclad Lacquer Chrome and then spraying Tamiya Clear Yellow ontop to create the gold. |
