If the addtional equipment is released as B-Club, I'll definitely pass on it. But then again, I hope that Bandai could just sell all the additional equipment in 1 HG 1/144 kit sometime in the coming months.

That's a sweet-ass mod there! Bandai cannot milk my money UNTIL they make a MG 0 Gundam.... That's for sure.:D

wish he used OYW's leg for the O gundam's leg part rather than Destiny/F Impulse's ones , since OYW and O Gundam's legs are identical :D ( except the wide foot of the OYW RX-78-2 )

StratoSpear 2009-03-09 10:27

He should have colored the RX-7----- 0 Gundam in RX-78 OYW Ver. colors, since the 0 Gundam that was shown in EP 23's preview closely matches with the said color scheme.

In other words, he should paint the white parts somewhat brownish.

Well, this mod was made prior to this week's episode, so he's basing it off the known O Gundam colors at the time :heh:

Watching the hcm-pro Cherudim box I noticed that the chest vents are covered by armor.
Does some model manual explain why ?

EDIT: thanks Lowe

that is one super nice looking MOD, 0 Gundam has to be my fav. 00 mobile suite now.

Here's the blurb on that from the 1/100 Cherudim manual:

I just ordered the 00 trans am set and it will be my first damashii fig. How does the damashii 00 measure against the 1/144 and hcm pro?

I don't know, Damashii line is meant to be an improvement on the MSIA. So that's the only thing I can compare it to.

The 1/144's slightly taller than the Damashi one. Articulation wise, both are pretty similar, but the Damashi has an additional joint in its feet to allow it to bend further forward.

The GN drive hinges of the 1/144 also seem stronger than the Damashi ones. When I equipt 0 Raiser on the Damashi, it tends to sag a little. I don't have that problem with the 1/144.

All that's been said, the Damashi line is meant for playing around with, while the 1/144 is for constructing and displaying purposes. Get the one which suits your intentions. ;)

No idea regarding the Hcm-Pro, don't own one, sorry. I don't like the 1/200 dimensions.

I have Arios, Cherudim, 00 Raiser and 00 Raiser Trans Am for Robot D.

They're great to play around with, awesome articulation which rivals, if not excels that of 1/144.

In my humble opinion, Robot Ds are better than HCM-Pro, one because (like the sir above me) I dislike figures which are TOO small (Robot Ds are just the right size), and two
the detail is equivalent if not surpasses the HCM-Pros'

In specific regard to 00 Gundam / Raiser, they're really good for those who wish to "explore" the Gundam itself (like observe what specific parts they have, which you can't really do just by watching the anime, if you know what i mean). There is basically no difference between 00 Raiser normal and Trans Am colour, except the obvious colour difference and the longer GN Sword II beam parts for the latter.

Overall, this is how you would go if you were a MODELLER :

1/144 > Robot D > HCM-Pro

If you're more of a "playing" person, you would go for :

Robot D > 1/144 (for the added detail with the same articulation as HCM Pro) > HCM-Pro

I only got two complaints with my Robot 00. One being the placing of the shield peg, all the way the front is just really distracting.

Secondly, the stiffness of the joints, prevent fluid moment in the right arm on mine. Every time I try to move it, the whole arm pops out of the torso.

Hmm, I guess it differs from model to model. My Trans Am RD 00 has very loose joints while my normal coloured RD 00 has relatively stiff joints. Try sanding out the ball joint a little perhaps?
