I was hoping for a first edition stand, but it looks like that won't be the case. I'll probably order one next year.. right now I'm more curious about the MG Strike Freedom Special version.
And the boxart looks like standard 1/100 material.. nothing spectacular. |

oh thanks for clearing it up....can only translate part of it :P |
ok can someone help me!!!
my right wing was loose so i super glued a little to make it tighter and wen i tried to twist it to pose i accidentally twisted it off.. heres a pic. can someone help me i cant take the joint out.. or if someone has a site or place that sell parts of gundam even though i doubt it tell me! heres a picture of it now http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y91...icture0015.jpg |
If you can't use a wrench, but want to take a slight risk, I suggest using an electric drill to drill it out. Or you can use a manual drill, but obviously use a smaller size for this purpose.
Thats what I do sometimes to something embedded. But you are probably not going to save the joint man, its gone man, gone... - Tak |
i think that you shouldn't have done that.
i don't thnk that there would be a site that sell singular parts cause thats kind of weird.:D

it has no online ordering system, but you can order individual parts there. I read its the most reliable and most responsive online JP store (better than HLJ) |
I had a not so good experience with them. I submit an order to them a while ago (out of curiosity), but it took them a good three weeks to reply to me a confirmation... Well, by that time, I already had my parts so I had to cancell the order.
Personally, I still prefer HLJ, because I get things really cheap with them :heh: - Tak |
That's really odd. I get a reply within minutes if I send an e-mail during their normal business hours. Their customer service is top-notch IMO. I order my Gundam kits almost exclusively from them now (can't beat 20% off).
And yeah, never, ever use glue on a joint. :heh: If you wanted to tighten it, I guess you could apply a layer of paint or something. But never glue. |
Because I love you so much Dark Warrior, I am gonna give 'em another shot, right about now... *there goes another $100*...
- Tak (Speaking of cheap, nothing beats getting a MG Strike Gundam at a cell phone store for half the original cost... HA!) |

Yeah, but none of the things on that list is telling me that paying $15 for a MG AILE STRIKE Gundam is too expensive :p
Besides, I already have a Kampfer (one of my favorite kit, btw). - Tak (That, and the only version you are ever going to get now is the IWSP variant, except I like Aile Strike) |
Hey Tak,
If you can point to a $20 PG WZC, then let me know. :p Man, I wish I would have gotten that Kampfer while I had the chance. :( |

Well, I wouldn't know where, since I am not really a fan of AC. SNT1 does, you should ask him :p

A bit hard to believe in it eventhough many mentioned the US$20 PG kits. That's like selling below the cost of producing it. But then, people said that...

|
The Box Art looks nice. But it's too flat for a MG Box Art.
We'll see if this is the real thing in a week or 2. |
MOst Prob the box size will be the same as MG Freedom and MG Aile Strike.....

At least the box art looks better than the shit that was the F91's.
|
Hmm the MG IWSP won't fit for the PG Strike will it?
|
That's boxart is just amazing!
|
The MG F91 and MG Crossbone X-1 are godly...

http://www.g-system-shop.com/cp-zlk/...gat-x105/1.jpg Just be prepared to shell out $180. ^^ I'm thinking about getting one myself, granted these next two months aren't the best times to be buying $180 model parts. XD |
Also be aware that they are resin, so be prepared for lots of cleaning up and glueing and painting. I myself am waiting for A MG V2. V2 Assault or V2-Assault-Buster. Of course, my modelling budget is going to be severly damaged with the purchase of my MG Ex-S and by 1/400 Neue Ziel and Dendrobium.

I am now officially a happy muthaf**ker... ... Just WTF am I ever gonna do with the rest o' these!? http://tak.rooms.cwal.net/dilemma.jpg - Tak (One day, I am gonna build a house using Gundam boxes) |
Not sure if this was posted before, but it's about time GSD has a real MG treatment:
Can't do anything but cry, Shinn XD :heh: :heh: Now, I can complete the Strike Freedom collection properly. Why? It will be really really hilarious seeing the SF evolve through all these different sized, different looking models grow into this awesome MG version. Almost as if the 1/60 Lightning edition got shrunk and detailed up :heh: Bandai!! It's so good to be alive :heh: :uhoh: :heh: |
Ha ha Tak, u sucumb to it. Where did you pre-order it?
By the way, saw 4 of your 1/100 box and came across a Q. Any idea, why they often produce 1/100 scale models but not MG grade which are 1/100 scale anyway? As for your boxes, probably you can place those smaller box inside bigger box, but looking at your photo. Seems like none can fit into each other. Probably the HG can fit into the MG box (which I did with). Also mind if we see a photo of your Gundam collection. Curious to see. :) |
