Higurashi Gou - Anime Episode Discussion Thread (OG/Kai spoilers OK)
 

Mod warning: After the broadcast of Episode 2 on 8th October 2020, it has been revealed Higurashi no naku koro ni NEW (2020) is actually "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou", which is a series to be watched by both old fans and newcomers. However, Episode 2 onwards have plenty scenes and information that both only make sense if you have watched the original series or read the original novel, but it also outright spoils important plot points revealed only much later. As such, it is very clear for old fans this series should be considered as a sequel. While newcomers could watch Gou first, it is not recommended at all.
Based on that premise, this thread will allow discussion that includes spoilers from the original anime series.

This is still one of my favorite performances from Nakahara Mai.
