I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the first season. If the second season is streamed in the US, I plan to watch it too.

Although still no more news about 2nd season I think I can list the seiyuus for the new characters that will appear (they made an appearance in the last episode so they should be in the 2nd season)

any info of that?? because I read on a facebook fan page that it's this August 19, but I don't see it on ANN's upcoming fall series :s

Glad to hear that they'll be a second season. I feel it's a lot like La Corda D'oro but different though. Hope they put more than 13 episodes. :)

I started watching the first season for the lulz and the ear candy, but I found it surprisingly endearing (except for the whole Tokiya plotline, bah), so I look forward to season 2.

I know this is a bit off-topic but on March Uta no Prince-sama All Star will be released. It will include routes with the four senpais, the two teachers and a rainbow route with your usual 7 main guys.

And there's also those new shuffle unit albums... How many songs have they released already?

My only concern is that the anime will try to promote the new characters in All Stars and it will spend less time with the main 6 boys (or seven, with Cecil included), even though they really need some attention and development.

The anime promo image only has Haruka and the 7 dwarfs boys so that's good news, but who knows... :/

I have the feeling those senpai will be the focus while the main guys will play a support role without being overshadowed :).
