It's back!

Holy shit, ink business is serious business. I guess they're acting violent due to Myne's ink disrupting their monopoly in the industry, huh? Thanks to that, Myne is hit with another misfortune of separating with her family early.

Really nice to have Myne back... though she seems to have stumbled into an ink mafia. Shaking down Lutz is not okay.

Nice that they dive right into the subject. I don't exactly recall what happened previously, yet I don't feel less disoriented by the plot.

Good start. Reinventing the letter press is of course excellent for Myne's goals of total world book domination. ^^

I saw a printing press in her eyes the moment the blacksmith offered his services.

I watched the two recap episodes as well as episode one of this season. Was a nice review of the major plot points.

i'm so happy it's back and will follow it avidly. sadly i wont be able to participate too much in the forum thread as i'm sure i would let too much spoiler leak from the novels :(

So I'm a bit hazy on some details. Myne can't leave her room, but she can go outside and see Lutz. Also why can't her mother come visit her at the cathedral? Too busy with work? That doesn't seem likely. I don't recall Ferdinand saying anything that would exclude her mother.

I decided the recaps weren't enough and rewatched the entire series. I'd forgotten how delightful this story is.

Her mother is on last months of pregnancy. Probably it is problematic for her to go. And sems like she just cannot be keft without a guard.

Good points, though I'm sure a guard could be arranged to escort her. I guess they could roll her to the cathedral in a cart, but getting up those stairs might be the end of her. Talk about "ableist" architecture!
