Pretty dramatic volume. Yet at the same time, there is some pretty good comedy in-between the dramatic chapters.

Not too surprising, Nagi does have a split personality. This other side seems more "god-like" than the normal Nagi, but recently, even I'm doubting whether Nagi's a god or not. At the same time, she can't be human because she popped out of some wooden sculpture. But then is she some different type of spirit? Or is she really just a delusional girl who thinks she's a god (which would require an explanation of various things...)?
Nagi's other side says there isn't much time left for Nagi... Hmm... :eyebrow:
There was a really funny moment though in all of this drama, where Jin records the conversation with the other side, but because almost all she did was kiss and hug him, the playback was quite embarrassing. :heh:

Then they go to the beach. Very hilarious chapter, where they repeat the same punchline three times for good effect.
Zange was thinking about how she's the prettiest and etc. on the beach, but Shino ended up beating her in that department, especially in the breasts department.
The most random thing, but Daitetsu planned to attract Jin's attention with his trained body. Of course, his plans were foiled when the old man professor guy (vol.1) was forced to reveal his body... and it was manly! Which attracts Jin's attention. Daitetsu, shock...
Then, Nagi thought about her charms as a flat-chest (tsurapeta~)... only to have a new character, Miyuu, pop up, who's a loli and beats her in flatness...

Somewhat unfortunately so, the story makes a more dramatic turn here.

Miyuu turns out to be the god of the land of the area this beach is on. That itself isn't too bad.
What's worse is that Zange is called out by Miyuu late at night to a cave. Jin follows too, of course.
Yet when they get there, what do you know, Ryuya (I believe this is his name), Miyuu's childhood friend, appears and reveals he knows abouts the gods and that Zange was possessing Hakua's body. Don't know what he did, but he extracts Zange out of Hakua and Zange (now in ball form) gets swallowed by some sea creature. Then, the damn brat has the nerve to leave...
Leaving Jin alone with Hakua... who regains control of her body... and instantly distances from Jin and huddles up in a corner. Dame da... korya...
Apparently, Jin has met with Hakua before, but he doesn't remember.

Leaving that aside, elsewhere, Nagi was searching for Jin and co. too, only to be confronted by that priest guy (don't remember name...). From the way he talks and what he says, I think he's another god.
He asks Nagi if she really is a god, but she runs off and the priest chases after her. On a higher area, Ryuya and some other megane-guy was watching.
They meet Suzushiro (who really is a doting parent...) on the way, and when he heard that the priest is probably one of the ones that took Hakua (at this point, Nagi/Suzushiro do not know where Jin and Hakua went), he went to full dash mode and chased after the priest.

Mah, in the end, they all fall into a hole which leads them to where Jin and Hakua are.
Apparently, the other four (Ryuya, Miyuu, priest, megane-man) plan to do something with the others in the cave (Jin, Hakua, Suzushiro, Nagi)...

Cliffhanger...

At least, it seems Miyuu and the priest are gods, but Ryuya and megane-man know about them as well... Just what are they planning to do, and what happened to Zange... ah, who cares.

And so, Hakua, whose existence I didn't really realize until now, has her past told in two chapters...
Mah, it's the usual shtick where the character can see spirits and suffers from it. It might get a bit long if I bother explaining, but Hakua could see spirits and stuff, and also tended to get possessed by them, which would cause her to "change" personality and such, which pretty much mentally tortured her to the point she attempted to hang herself (nooooo!!)... Which was the moment Zange possessed her...
And although Zange is a tad obnoxious, she's somewhat of a good person enough to help Hakua make friends and such...

Also explained was how Jin and Hakua met, which was at a camp. They started getting along after they both learned each other could see spirits.
This was all before the attempted suicide and Zange thing though.


Before the explanatory chapter, we get the continuation from the last vol (which I forget a bit off), with Miyuu (that two-faced loli) and the other three explaining about how they are all parts of one god and how they are separate but the same existence... Later explained by Nagi that it was like RPG characters...
I suppose this raises the possibility Nagi is like them... Though there are parts that don't fit, like they say...
Unfortunately for Hakua's dad, Zange manages to re-enter Hakua again...

So the mystery continues~

And after that part, we get Hakua's past... Hakua, kawaii yo, Hakua~

And then we go back to pure comedy, where the group help Akiba write a doujinshi... The girls all drew BL... :heh:
And following that even more, the last chapter has half of it being at comi-ke with Nagi and Zange cosplay, and the latter half is Tsugumi+Nagi focused on a summer festival and fireworks.

And...
It ends with Zange saying she's almost finished what she is trying to do... :uhoh:

And as always, the manga ends with some one chapter series unrelated to the story...
Which strangely reminds me of Hakua (outer appearance and troubles).
It was a good story, even though the end has a huge timeskip (high school --> old lady).
It was funny to see the manga-ka forget to draw her scar across her eye at the end... :twitch::heh:

I found the latest chapters to be a bit disappointing. I knew that there was always a possibility of Jin and Nagi ending up together, but I was hoping it wouldn't head this way, especially since it specifically contradicts some of the things Nagi was saying earlier on about him (being just a child, liking someone else, etc).

I also thought there were strong hints towards a Jin/Tsugumi ship, but she has barely even appeared, and there's pretty much no shot now, the way things are progressing.

Perhaps the human girl side of Nagi is falling for him but as last panel shown, the other side shows disapproval and disturbed by turn of events in the narrative.
