Btw, did they take those fingers from Nobel Gundam?

Inevitable yes, but would they all be mass released is the better question.:heh:
I cant imagine Bandai letting Xbone take up 4 HG spots(and a potential 5th with Fullcloth)

I'll skip the HGUC Neo Zeong. Partly because my wallet can't handle it. Also because I'm a feddie. Jegans for me. ;)

HGs tend to have more variations with designs, so yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually release all the crossbones in HG, even if the MGs have 2 of them be limited.

ZeroXSEED 2014-03-22 19:29

I will get SD Neo Zeong

Probably with SD Unicorn FA when I get extra budget

Exclusive HGs & RGs are never a problem for me as I can handle the price :D (I have a bunch of them already: Pink Beargguy, Banshee Clear, Justice Deactive, etc). What matters is whether Bandai makes them or not. They'll possibly release X2 & X3 as exclusives but will definitely release X1 & Full Cloth as regulars. X1 is the main Gundam and Full Cloth needed a helluva new molds that making it exclusive won’t sit well with Bandai’s policy.

The 11-year Gunpla production difference:

Is there a guide for beginners who wish to custom-paint Gunpla?

ZeroXSEED 2014-03-23 01:43

Ahahaha Casval Gundam look downright ancient there

Indeed it does as it is based on teh MG 1.5.

I would not mind some (color) variants of the 3.0, but bandai only seems to be releasing variants as exclusives of the 2.0 old looking gundam

Patriot's Blade 2014-03-23 08:57

so in what grades does the official Char's custom RX-78-2 Gundam have been released anyways again? till up to date? well, not those hobby scratch build custom magazine & limited edition/exclusive ones tho......

i need that for my "permanent TRANS-AM" jokes for my A.D. cast, replacing the Strike Rouge.... :heh:

ZeroXSEED 2014-03-23 09:03

HG was limited edition AFAIK

It and MG are both old design

If you're talking about "standard releases" only, then you got only one: MG RX-78/CA (the one StratoSpear posted above).

Others, like the old Extra Finish MG, HG, and PG are all exclusive items IIRC:

Patriot's Blade 2014-03-23 09:22

so, it looks like i have to scratch build custom that old MG, by experimenting with something along the lines of Builder Parts so it looks up to date....... :heh:

Depends on which one you consider easier, you can also buy the recent MG Gundam 3.0 and paint it in Char’s color. That, or you can wait for some exclusive items down the line (whether it’s a recolor of 3.0 or the RG, I don’t know). A standard release of Char’s Gundam has 1/1000 chance of coming true. The chance might go up if they release another Gihren’s Greed game which featured the mecha IIRC.

There's also the 1/144 Gundam Fix Figuration if you're not keen on scratch building.

Personally, I think it's easier to repaint the normal RX-78-2.

I believe they did reuse Nobel's hands, since the fingers looks long, which was similar to the one shown in Crossbone image.

On the Neo Zeong, I first thought it was a very boring design unlike the Dendrobium, but looking at the physical prototype is very inspiring. I doubt it'll have a lot of sales but it's a great sign that Bandai can release such a product if they wanted to. Please oh please make a HGUC of this:

Fireminer 2014-03-23 09:57

Say, is there anything I could use beside Acetone? These old parts, they are too brittle to use it.

ZeroXSEED 2014-03-23 10:29

DO NOT USE ACETONE

Especially if they're old

I heard window washer work, but ask Old man Hawk, he seems to know the method

Patriot's Blade 2014-03-23 13:01

bah ok, i'll just paint the latest normal RX-78-2 in Char's colors, job done. :heh:
still not sure on the RG version though, with individual panels's tones, trying to mimic the Zaku counterpart.......

Wild Goose 2014-03-23 19:13

Looking again at that HGUC Neo Zeong, it's like it's the physical embodiment of MUH IDEALS.

Aka the final trump card a Zeon character pulls out when they can't justify themselves or the atrocities they've committed.

Blazer-X 2014-03-23 20:09

DAMNIT BANDAI!

Wild Goose 2014-03-23 20:33

Dafuq. Banshee's getting in on the full armor business.
