It's not that it's animated. I just have a thing for mono eye/ glass visor. Just looks cooler. Maybe it's the whole metroid influence. Who knows.

Well, MG ARF Kai is supposed to be the “Kai” version (hence the name). So yeah, the Kai version doesn’t use regular beam saber & rifle, so I think it’s cool not to include that. Bandai already decided (so far) that Normal Red Frame already has enough choices from NG 1/144, HG 1/144, HG 1/100, and PG. Personally, for normal RF (with just rifle, shield & beam sabers), I'm fine with the 1/100 ;), while for the "samurai" version (with Gerbera Straight katana), I'll get the PG someday :p.

The ARF Kai does come with the beam effect parts for the Arrow Form of its Tactical Arms, am I right? Can't seem to find this kit in local departmental stores, I need to do some snooping in hobby shops.

Yes, and not only one, but TWO :D (in case you messed-up with the first one).

Yup, go to online shops for cheap price. That's where I got mine ;).

Comes with 2 HG sized clear yellow beam sabers as the effect parts
I've been using mine as sabers for Zeydra :heh:

Damn, I’m kinda jealous. I really want to try shooting with those bows even once. Did you practice(d) archery in your school like bio9205 too? That’s a fine school. Here, we only have the ordinary sports like athletics, tennis, the big-2 (soccer & basketball), volley, badminton, swimming, etc.

Unfortunately I don't have a credit card! I'll ask my parents, and see what they can do. :D By the way, does it come with the red stand you use in your pictures? I remember seeing the kit coming with screws, are they for the stand?

Finally! That looks nice. The color scheme doesn’t hurt my eyes as much as normal Destiny. Since I don’t have any MG Destiny yet, I might go with this version (but I kinda want the Wing Effect parts too :p:eyespin:).

would like the wing effect also ...but pink effect doesn't seem to sync with the yellow beam parts :eyespin:

attempting to do boxart pose

another pose

The funny thing is, I don’t know what kind of garment it’s called. It feels soft and rough at the same time. It’s light and can be arranged easily. I don’t know whether it’s similar to MG Crossbone KA robe or not. I guess you’ll have to experience it yourself to know for sure.

Probably a type of polyester. Perfect for other MG cloaked suits, like Exia Repair.

Yeah, it's a shame that Exia Repair use stiff rubber as its cloak. It would be a lot better if they use the same material as Sandrock Kai's cloak. It would be cheaper too I believe.

that really is pretty cool! i dunno, its simple and yet very effective. it also doesnt look too busy in my opinion.

also, its funny how something as simple as putting it on an action base and adding a beam effect part to the rifle just turned my MG ReZEL into one of my biggest and most impressive looking kits^^ if you do have the ReZEL i think you should try it, it looks great!
i used a darker UC beam effect though and not one of those new very light pink ones to make the effect more vibrant.

Yeah, Junichi Akutsu & Kunio Okawara is a great combination in SEED. Together, they made the GATX series. Their individual designs are also impressive. Kunio Okawara designed the Trio Gundams (Raider, Calamity, Forbidden) and Duo Gundams (Freedom & Justice) while Junichi Akutsu designed the Astray series and the variants. But Kanetake Ebikawa (Exia & co) and Naohiro Washio’s designs (Throne Gundams) from 00 are also quite interesting. You don’t even have to ask about Katoki Hajime. I’m a fan of his Wing Gundam & co redesigns, but also love the originals by Okawara.

@Appel
Any photos :)?
