Okamidum 2009-04-24 13:53

Thats a ridiculous modification haha. It looks awesome.

Rising Dragon 2009-04-24 14:11

Needs more Dynames' trademark green.

Amber.Dawn 2009-04-24 14:34

Well, I chose:
heads win for Impulse
tails win for Freedom

The results? In eight coin flips, all of them were heads...
It must be a sign for me to buy the Impulse.

Can't speak for the Zakus and Sinanju, but I think MG Infinite Justice is comparable to the Impulse. I had the most fun building these 2. ;)

Sweet i cannot wait to get my Infinite Justice, which is lost in shipping somewhere in this world. lol But looking forward to building it.. Could you post some pictures of your Infinite Justice please. :)

i give props to people who can mod their gunpla, that takes a lot of hard work and dedication. I always wanted to learn how to do that kind of stuff because models looked like the suck back in the days.

also here's another link for those who want to re-cast using putty as well

just finish the knee
i really have hard time with this
now for the weapon
which one i should use for the axe
the small one is fit to the hand perfectly
but it's kinda weird because it's too thin comparing to the body
but the big one cannot fit to the hand
better think about it later

@Jaycee - Thanks for the links. Very insightful indeed.

@Vandalier - Do you mind sharing what you used for the armour modifications (epoxy?) / skulls and all, and how you made them? I'm planning to custom design some armour parts but I'm not sure exactly how to start. Thanks!

@Sworra - Haha sure, but it'll all probably be static poses unfortunately. :( I broke the joint connecting the backpack to IJ, so I glued it back. It's now permanently stuck in it's 'flying mode'. Might want to ask Sir Dearka. He has a pretty badass one.

Vandalier 2009-04-24 19:46

i'm just using accessory from warhammer
it's called chaos tank accessory

That's alright i always love seeing other peoples work and the dedication they put into thier kits. About IJ is it a hard kit or things to beware of since you had an incident with it?.

Thanks

I agree, one of the reasons why I like Dynames is its colour.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove tamiya spraypaints (i.e. TS-26)? i think the spraypaint is lacquer based but i'm having trouble finding a solution for it

if anyone knows of a way to strip the paint, it would much be much appreciated if you could share it with us noobs ><

First identify which type of paint it is. So if you're certain it's lacquer. Then find lacquer thinner and dilute a solution with water and let the parts soak in it. Making sure to keep an eye on it every so often as some thinners can harm plastic in larger doses. Though it won't get rid of all the paint using this process the rest left over can be removed by using a toothbrush and brushing away at the pieces. Then it's just a matter of sanding till smooth again and priming to paint.

How is the HG 1/144 Arios, does it has standing problems like Kyrios?

the Arios HG is a big improvement from kyrios, smoother transformation, better articulation on the legs and the elimination of the standing problem, either way arios comes with a seed hg stand
