haha, thanks^^
but to be honest, PG astray wasnt exactly difficult to put together (just a ton of parts), there are quite a few nubs on my kits because where i live its tough to get proper touch-up markers (you just dont really see them in the photo because my cell phone camera blows) and my panellines arent exactly great either (im getting the hang of that though! on my wing EW they turned out quite nicely). there really isnt anything to be jealous about^^ i still consider myself a rookie

I don't suppose any of you guys would know of...a commission model kit service would ya?

Any of you know what I mean? Buy a kit, then have a professional, or at least someone who has a grasp on the concept build and paint it for you? Does something like that even exist?

http://zgmfxg.web.fc2.com/ this guys sells what he makes. don't know if he does requests though.

The time for me to get accustomed for kit building has long since passed. There is no hope for me to even be a novice at it. With my luck, I would end up breaking something before I even got the chance to build it.

You'd be surprise at how easy it really is. It looks complicated but its actually child's play. Trust me, its worth your time to try at least one HG. All you need is a plastic cutter.

You've been fairly afraid to try all this time I recall, I really think you need to believe in yourself and take a leap of faith on just one and if it does not work...............then go with the commissions.

GN0010 Nosferatu 2011-04-18 01:49

I'd rather just go the commission route first.

Save myself the inevitable failure.

Appel 2011-04-18 01:53

at first i thought so, too. then i just ordered the master grade strike freedom full burst mode, watched a few build videos on youtube (check out stryderprimes channel on youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/stryderprime) and here i am!^^
id just get myself a high grade kit and go on from there.

Well it's not a Gundam. It's a Kotobukiya Frame Arm. It's slightly off topic. That's why I didn't mention it sooner.

those really dont look any more complicated than bandais gundam kits.

JC... 2011-04-18 06:35

They seem pretty simple, cut out the frame, push on the parts.

i know what ill be doing during the next couple of days c:<

JC... 2011-04-18 09:49

Wow EX-S, does it actually transform?

Illsteir 2011-04-18 10:29

Yes it does. And, transformation-wise, it puts the MG Unicorn to shame when it comes to level of difficulty.

:twitch: Just how much did that thing cost you? I saw a review on Youtube for this kit and I know this thing is MASSIVE and very, very difficult to pose. Regardless, have fun building it :)

it wasnt THAT much^^ my sinanju titanium finish was more expensive c:
and yeah, it is massive alright. i have built the stand and the lower body now and this beast is SO massive, you actually build the stand first and then you put everything on while the lower body already is on the stand :P and it comes with a bazillion screws...

this thing seems to be a pain in the butt to put together by the way. after i finished the lower body combinded with the core fighter it just wouldnt connect to the stand properly.... i had to remove a screw and now it fits alright i guess :T i hope the rest will be better.

it also comes with a lot of ugly and big stickers...

edit: got the legs on it now, the upper body is missing and its already almost as taller than a reguler master grade... this thing is a BEAST! XD

JC... 2011-04-18 16:21

Does anyone have the HGUC (or NG 1/144) Sazabi shot rifle and a Geara Zulu? I wouldn't mind seeing a size comparison with the two if anybody does. xD Thinking about getting one to equip an Angelo Sauper Geara Zulu with, it's a pretty cool combo.

Oh no my friend, I can assure you they are not pre-painted. They are unpainted, and boy do they look horrible without it.
