well in the form today's kits or figures like Robot Damashii?
to me they put the Perfect & Full Armor Gundams to shame, also good parody fodder to celebrate the anniversary :heh:

- It's more like a combindation of the Dra-C and Marasai heads to me. I also have a sort-of Sazabi vibe from it, but that's probably just because of the name and the more Zeonic look. Not liking the purple, but the white actually fits the "Lucifer" moniker (Lucifer being the "Angel of Light" in Jewish and later Christian religion). Just wish it was different shades of white with a few red or black highlights (to fit a "Fallen Angel" motif).

Which begs the question why they refer to it as a "Gundam" even though the head and overall design doesn't look like either a traditional Gundam nor does it have any similarity with the G-Self, G-Arcane or even the G-Aion. (well maybe a few similarities with the G-Aion in terms of the design 'feel', but...)

Granted, I'm not following the series lately so I don't know if there's a story explanation for it, but...

In the latest episode it was revealed that the G-Self was indeed made in Towasanga, and was a prototype unit that was rejected for mass-production. It would not surprise me if the Lucifer here is a more recent prototype, as its aesthetics go along with the current moon forces MS in many areas.

Transient does not really have a distinct backpack though, more likely its a weapons part set for it

Why are the 1/100 SEED DESTINY Zakus so hard to find for a good price? In all the main model sites I checked they were sold out/back-ordered/long out of stock

I can only seem to find them on Ebay or Amazon for varying prices, most which are overpriced to some degree

Whats up with that? Are they just really getting that old/hard to find?

My friend Jason is still bugging me to convert a 1/100 Seed Destiny Zaku Warrior into an MG (using an MG Zaku II as the inner frame), and I told him I'll do it once I find a 1/100 Zaku Warrior to chop up. And the prices they go for make it financially impossible for me to get that project started.

Anyone has the 1/100 Chaos by any chance? I stumbled across the kit while looking around for those damn SEED Zakus (seems like Amazon is my only hope for them being under $40, and even then its only the Phantom's, for some reason the Gunner and the Warrior are more expensive)

IMO everything looks good on the 1/100 Chaos ASIDE from the head, it seems a bit too big

Always been a big fan of the design and colors (easily one of my top 10 SEED units), but never considered the kit for some reason

Apparently, its name is Gundam Portanto, or something along those lines. The name is ポータント. It could be Potanto, Portanto, which is Portugese for "Therefore", or Portent, as an omen.

Whoever mentioned Sakibure as the inspiration was spot-on. The thing literally looks like a Gundam-fied Sakibure with pixie theme backpack.
