[Manga] Naruto's Fighting Style

How do you think naruto will handle sasuke in the final battle, what kind of fighting style can naruto use against sasuke?

I think the kinds of jutsus that naruto should learn are jutsus that cannot be easily copied, jutsus like resengan, and FR are perfect because there are no handsigns involved so sasuke would have hard time using those against naruto

As for taijutsu, naruto bet learn yellow flash teleporting thingy because that he has to be so fast that even if sasuke eyes can predicts his moves his body won't be able to react

Naruto should also figure out how to make projectile ninjutsus, maybe make FR and actual shuriken which can be thrown. (i think that is what his next training session going to be about)

another way to beat sasuke is to just overpower with nine-tails chakra, not even kusanagi could pierce the chakra shell

BlackShinobi07 2007-03-21 10:17

Ahh... i doubt naruto will even put a scratch on Sasuke despite the power of his new jutsu. Look at it this way, naruto only has ONE ALL POWERFULL JUTSU while sasuke is competent in all ninja arts, not to mention that bad ass weapon he carries now. Naruto is not really too in strong, fast, or has anyskill in genjutsu. The best ninjutsu naruto has is the summoning jutsu. And if that doesnt work he'll probably just do that same lame kage bunshin no jutsu crap, have them all taken out as usual, and probably have to once again rely on the kyubi chakra. Oh wait, thats not even of any use if he to fight sasuke since he can surpress that now. oh well, too bad naruto isnt much of protaginist. In sum, naruto fighting style isnt too bad, i just wish he had more jutsus and that he could do his jutsus without the kyuubi chakra or the clones. I dont really care that he cant do genjutsu, but that kage bunshin doesnt really do anything to his enemys but show their skill in taijutsu when their eliminating the clones.

I've always seen Naruto's fighting style somewhat similiar to the 4ths (if only to egg on a theory :p). Even though we see no fighting scene with Yondiame on the first episode I noticed the 4th does the same quirky little knee bend (fighting Kybui) that Naruto always does when casting his Jutsu...

What ever manner of Jutsu field naruto goes for were going to see the same unorthodox and uncompromising techniques Naruto always kicks ass with.

i think naruto should try and learn like a rasgan shadow clone thing like instanly converting the chakra in one of his clones into like a rasgan

Rahan 2007-03-29 19:57

I want him do explosive clones. Both Itachi and Deidara used some while Naruto is supposed to be the Bunshin specialist. (ok Deidara wasn't a kage bunshin, but still ...)
If his bunshins are supposed to go poof (and they will as long he doesn't improve his taijutsu), they might as well do it in a bang

Might not be very politically correct to turn the main character into a bomber though.

Asianknight82 2007-03-29 20:37

Itachi is the master of Shadow Clones, Naruto should learn to do what Itachi does. IF he does, he would do a better job since Naruto has near infinite amount of Chakra.

Goshin 2007-03-29 21:02

itachi is the master of everything

-Indeed. It's too bad Itachi isn't the one who is training Naruto because you know he would be a complete monster by the time he was finished his training. But then again that would change Naruto's style of combat which relies heavily on the fighting spirit and endurance. Even so it's still an entertaining thought.

-In regards to fighting Sasuke, Naruto does not necessarily have to be faster than Sasuke. We know he has the power to destroy him with a single move but now all he needs is the method of delivery. If he cannot surpass him in speed or trick him with Kage Bunshins then there's always the option of immobilizing Sasuke by different means. Traps, explosives, a flash grenade (a doujutsu user's ultimate weakness so Kishimoto refuses to introduce it) are all good ways to stun Sasuke long enogh to land a devestating hit.

i dont even know what his fighting style is other then just trying to talk the person to death and doing 10000 kage bunshins

If that's true, then Naruto wouldn't be able to beat Neji & Gaara & the several other ninjas that Sasuke couldn't defeat. Naruto has gotten leagues better from when he was a little kid as well. He may not be flashy but he gets the job done with pure power. I mean look at the new Rasengen, its like a mini atomic bomb.

SpiRo 2007-03-29 22:39

Well his rasengan with fire manipulation is useless against Sasukes fire manipulation so dont count on it .. And summoning wont be much of a help becouse Sasuke know snake summoning ..

Anyway i dont think they will fight at all .. but if they fight that will be same old lame fight he got beaten hell out of him and then he go 623 tiled fox .. and then i dont know what will happen..

kheldorin 2007-03-29 23:03

I think Naruto has to be more all-rounded. He may have immense power in a few of his jutsus but he has alot of weakness that can be exploited. One of them is his genjutsu defense. He needed help to counter it vs Itachi. If it was 1 on 1, it would have been over at the 1st move.

uuh this has nothing to do with being able to beat someone im just pointing out things he does. For me those fights were biased overpowered crap reason to let him win. This what you point out has nothing to do with the topic. im just saying some things i see him to when fighting im not talking about wether he wins or not.

every fight naruto starts with him trying to lay a punch on the enemy or rather not thinking and attacking in simple ways.

Well when u look at it he beat Neji with brute Kyuubi power and Gaara with Gamabunta telling him what to do .. he didnt show any fighting style at all ..

kalbron 2007-03-30 00:44

Uh its obvious isn't it? ;) Seeing as Kishi really likes having DBZ with Ninjas, Naruto will turn into his 5 tails form (which unlike the 4 tails form is under his complete control, and doesn't harm him at all, as per DBZ laws) and proceed to kick everyone and anyone's ass.

(For those who don't get the DBZ reference, we get Super Saiyan 1 => SS2 => SS3 => Giant psycho uncontrollable gold monkey form => SS4... which is oddly reminicent of 1 tail => 2 tails => 3 tails => psycho 4 tails => ?)

Asianknight82 2007-03-30 00:55

I wanna see Naruto completely merge with Kyuubi and tear the world asunder XD

He beat Neji with some help from the Kitsune, but the final blow was pure ingeniuity. And while Gamabunta did help him in one phase of the battle, it was Naruto that fought Gaara to the point where he had to use his last resort attack.

I don't think it's so much about his pure power (although he does have that, in spades)...at least pre-timeskip (excluding the VotE), it was all about strategy and exploiting both luck and weakness. True, he almost always blows a large amount of chakra using clones and what-have-you, but there's always a catch.

Naruto's style seems to be one of almost total adaptation using Naruto's strengths (unlimited chakra, Wolverine-like healing factor, and Kage Bushin), which are so general that they allow him to fight under almost any conditions (even if it gets old from time to time). While he doesn't always do the right thing right off, he usually comes up with a strategy that works. It may not be pretty, but it gets the job done. I'm really surprised we haven't seen multiple clones doing multiple Rasengans...it would be a lot harder to just beat the shit out of clones when they're wielding balls of pure destructive chakra.

So true, Naruto is a better strategist than people ever give him for.

-No not the world. Just Sasuke-gaki, Kabuto, and the guys that made the filler episodes :heh:. Yes I think that would be enough.

pffffffffffff>.>

anyway i only liked 1 part of naruto when he was fighting and that was against sasuke when he had a jet li type stance. when sasuke threw that wooden stick to naruto

and i think he should stop using the kage bunshin in fights TOO much his chakra gets like dispersed over all those bunshin and im not sure wether that limits his possibilities agaisnt the opponents.

From all narutos fights the only thing i know is that whomever the enemy is not thinking what might be best he allways runs in and tries to hits thats his whole style.

After being beat'n up and after having tried more then 10 things one is bound to succeed thats his whole fighting style
