There are rumors that the anime series will be animated by Silver Link, who just finished C³.

Wait wait, how many episodes is this? More accurately, how many can they make?

most likely 12 or 13 episodes. Shows like this are usually one cour.

The manga will probably be done before this is finished airing, I suppose if they take that into account they can squeeze in more or less 24 episodes.

At least that's what I'm hoping for...:heh:

It's just me throwing out a wild guess, don't take my word for it, but unless he wants to drag it out then I don't see the main plot going past spring of next year.

Then again he could create a new main plot, but that's cheating. :heh:

if the rumors about this one being animated by silver link then the chances are only 1 cour because I haven't seen them yet do 2 cour.

Actually, if Silver Link does manage to imitate SHAFT's style, it might go to Tasogare Otome's advantage, since I've always thought of its anime adaptation to be best handled by SHAFT. The imagery of Bakemonogatari can work wonders with Maybe's depiction of backgrounds in the manga, while Yuuko's personality and looks can be compared to Hitagi Senjougahara.

Also, Maybe has a problem with consistency of how his characters look, so the anime series should be able to fix that problem.

F***! YES! Now just gotta wait for a D-Frag anime =03. I will be PISSED if they screw up how Yuuko looks(if how generic Maken-Ki looks is any indication of how a h-artist's skills are adapted). Her every motion better have half the episode's budget put into it!

I also wonder if they're going to use the seiryuu from the drama CD? I didn't really get a Yuuko feeling from her VA(it lacked a seductive side) and Niiya wasn't good at all.

(In the Drama CD, Niiya is voiced by the Prince of Tennis, Junko Minagawa, while Yuuko is voiced by the relative newbie Takane Shijou, Yumi Hara, for those who don't know that yet.)

If iDOLM@STER is gonna end soon, this series is probably good experience for Hara-san.
