Saori Hayami Performs Ending Theme for Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Anime

The official website for the television anime of CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card manga announced on Tuesday that Saori Hayami will perform the anime's ending theme song "Jewelry." The song will be part of Hayami's 4th single of the same name, which will ship in Japan on March 28. Hayami wrote and composed the song with arrangement by Tatsuya Kurauchi.

Maaya Sakamoto is returning to the franchise to perform the opening theme song "CLEAR." Sakamoto wrote the song's lyrics and Ikimono-gakari member Yoshiki Mizuno composed the song.

Wow, talk about nostalgia! Really enjoyed watching this, since it brings back memories of my childhood...yet at the same time can't help feeling sad because it also made me realize how many years it's been and now I feel so old compared to then. :heh:

So, anyone knows if this is going to stick to the manga canon or build on the previous anime?

Seeing Kero-chan at the start alone is enough to get me all fuzzy with nostalgia. :heh:

wow nostalgia FTW, my youth is passing over me all again!!!!!, man after watch that epsiode like someone told i'm really feeling "old" and looking back i really was so "innocent" on that time, cuz this serie while give me really wonderfull feelgins with all the sakura-chan power, also give me a lot or weird feelings, this serie was so wonderfull and at same time "so wrong" and weird, all the "homo"/yaoi and yuri and even "pedo" moments being disgused in the serie to make it gender so popular around the world, lol:heh::heh::heh::heh: i'm really old but gonna be fun see them back in action, when i started to read the new manga i was like crying then the same happened on this episode even being a male i could not hold seeying something which was "so special" in my childhood back" and something so emotional.

Like Sakura, I was left thinking of my days as an early anime fan, as Cardcaptor Sakura was one of the first shows I watched as an elementary school pupil (the show aired dubbed 17 years ago). In retrospect, it was a good decision that I missed out on the CCS movies. That way, I was able to proceed with Clear Card without the story conflict introduced by the anime-original stories.

And now, it's time for Clear Card Arc to truly begin!

I'd have loved they had left the Movies in the Anime canon, but...oh well...
Well, given I've also read the Manga, years ago, and I'm following the current one, I have no conflicts plot-wise :D
