I'm not liking the colour of the rail guns. But some paint can fix that. ;)

the vents on the torso have the same color. i dont think they will look like this on the final kit^^ afterall, this is just a magazine scan of the overall design.
everyone knows the freedom, my guess is that this is just supposed to show off the general design of the kit, not the colors.

Yep, not bad at all, first timer.

I'm still waiting for Sandrock MG. Although I prefer the TV series version, the EW version is not too bad. It's the first time Sandrock in MG after all.

I thought they were just mod/scratch built.

at least the zaku I should be real. i mean, bandai wouldnt bother putting a flyer for it into the green zaku IIs box if they wouldnt want to advertise for it, right?^^

Turns out RG G-Fighter and Zaku I are just custom work examples:

the only good news to me for all these RG is i don't need to get the HG and have the same size, since they are about the same price.

Here's the final update for my weathering tutorial that I did, part three covers the use of pastels and pigments in creating rust, dirt, dust, exhaust, and oil stains to name a few.

And what the Gouf Custom looks like now:

i'm one of those that don't know about that site, but just went there and take a look, pretty much same price as most of the places that i buy from, some older kits seem a bit cheaper. however the shipping cost could be ended up making your purchase much more than expected. and personally, i hate USPS.

I've been looking around and apparently, this Gundam Guy is like considered #1 in the US for GunPla stuff, and I read that Bandai Japan actually reads his blog & checks out his online store...

Seems pretty epic. =D

i c, for me, if i like a kit i don't really care about what other say. price is the main factor. for me i just started these forum recently, so i guess i'm not much of a blog reader myself. so my suggestion is still stand, most of the kit that this Gundam Guy selling is pretty much the same as the other. but some are a bit over priced. however he did have some interesting bundle, like 00 Raiser with 4 LED, or Unicorn with limited Gatling Gun. those are interesting. but i really hate USPS, i would prefer FedEx or UPS. i just have bad experience with USPS.

GameraBaenre 2011-07-26 02:25

Granted this will ultimately be part of a larger diorama, for now I snapped some decent pictures to fully show the thing off before shelving it while I work on the other kits in the diorama.

Shipping is no problem. You can request to have your order mailed with FedEx or UPS. Try contacting their customer service email and ask about it. I'm pretty sure they'll be able to ship it with UPS or FedEx if you want.

Yea his prices may seem "overpriced" but I don't think so. I know there are other online retailers that have lower prices, but Gunda Guy's quality of service is just too good and his selection is just too good. Even if you don't see something in stock in his online store, you can ask (via email) to see if they have it in their warehouse.

They also do like part replacement for your kits.... Like if you break or lose a part, you can have it replaced with a new one at a reasonable price.

And those LED units for the MG 00 kits... I'm pretty sure he sells them at the cheapest everywhere online. Besides, those are "Japan Only" so they are pretty hard to find, and I'm sure other online retailers will overprice those.

after putting a SD 00 Raiser myself, i could tell you this. this kit did look great, but still can't compare to SD Wing. and by looking at this picture, it seem all i need is the 7 sword. the suit itself got no different. so i guess i will skip this one.

For Anyone Who Is Into Gundam Model Kits...I Found Something Cool

http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2011/0...mpaign_23.html

Basically, if you buy a specially marked Gundam model kit, you get like these codes that you use for a chance to win a ton of Gundam model kits.

This is open to many countries, including the US.

The prizes are:

1st Place: 15 Winners - FOUR in ONE Perfect Grade Gift Set (PG Strike Freedom, PG 00 Raiser, PG Astray Red Frame, PG Wing Zero Custom)

2nd Place: 35 winners - SIX in ONE Master Grade Gift Set (MG 00 Raiser, MG Unicorn Gundam, MG Strike Freedom, MG Astray Red Frame, MG Sinanju, MG Wing Zero Custom)

3rd Place: 70 winners - Special Editon Gunpla Tool Set (Nipper, Tweezer, Metal File, 3 Gundam Markers and tool case)

Each specially marked Gundam model kit comes with a code. So the more you buy, the more chances you have to win.

But at least check out the link I just posted. The guy sells Gundam model kits too, and he has those kits with those special.

But do it fast since the contest thing is running out soon.

i guess i could give this a try, since at least couple of my Gundam got damaged when i move, i simply glue them back, but some part went totally missing.
while i'm at it, maybe i could order couple older kits as well, since the older kit are hard to find them nowadays.

I like this guy too! I was really hesitant before and now I'm always checking up on his blog every day a few times a day...

He also runs like monthly contests lately where you just have to comment once and you're entered to be randomly selected to win like Gundam model kits, certificates to his store, etc.

The guy seems so dedicated to Gundam model kits and his staff are pretty nice based on emails I've sent.
