Based on:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K08WyklgLxg&hd=1

I would say that it doesn't need that much space. The Wing MG's are smaller than the typical MG size. Though I suspect those blades would need some space? Get an Action Base 1 and display it on that.

FalsePrime 2012-09-16 21:51

They don't even need that much space unless you want them hanging off his back.

Sandrock can cross pretty easily thanks to his arms, and you can stack everything on the shield in the Cross Crusher to keep things ot a minimum. Depending on the pose Sandrock could very well take up less room then the Heavyarms EW and his massive Gatling.

Also no offense meant to Nike, but Sandrock really is such a ground pounder and a he is so stable that using an action base on him really is a waste. Guy is a rock and even with the Cross Crusher you will be good with him on pretty much any flat surface.

derrickmc63 2012-09-16 21:55

ok thanks for the help, sandrock is one of my favorite designs in the wing series, along with heavyarms. since i have mg heavyarms i figured i might as well get sandrock

derrickmc63 2012-09-16 22:28

i will get all of them but not at this time. Since there are others that i am waiting for and other that i want to get:
MG Buster Gundam
Age FX(if it gets the master grade)
MG Nu Gundam ver ka.
HG GM Sniper II
If i like the design of the MS then i will get the model kit.

If you hold on both hands or combine with the shield it won't take up a lot of space.
In fact most of my wing kits except (wing) stays on the ground

Obelisk ze Tormentor 2012-09-16 23:13

@derrickmc63
Like others already said, MG Sandrock is a pretty small suit compared to say Destiny MGs, so it won't take too much space. Also, it can do some neat poses where you don't need a lot of room for it, like these poses of mine:

Dynamic tag cannot be rendered. (PrintableThread)

Se7en Sabers 2012-09-17 02:19

and what about a MG Victory V2 ?

The first one has been released since quiet a time but we never heard anything regarding the V2

Or at least, a Real Grade would be nice but the result would be a very small unit if the proportions are respected :p

I can't even imagine a RG V2 (if they make it like V1 MG). I mean, all those docking mechanism with all those small parts will be the very definition of "all hells break loose" :uhoh:. Heck, it looks like RG Zeta can't stand on its own two feet due to the (assumed) transformation mode :heh:.

The latest news is that Bandai is perfecting it and I'm hoping they really do. But the point is, it's currently being made/planned.

AGREED! Victory and V2 are very small MS. If they are made to RG then that would be chaos, LOL!

Pretty good. Follow-up review of rrobbert184 showed the possibilities of a FX Burst mode pose and more, given the 14 plus C-funnel slots.

Your kit and photos look fantastic as always, loon! I really dig that FX and its bits effects. :)

Just found this. Awesome to the Philippines.

Toy company Bandai to build $9.5 million factory in Philippines

By Adam Westlake / September 3, 2012

Japan’s Bandai is set to invest 400 million Philippine Pesos (approx. 744 million yen/$9.5 million) in the construction of a new factory in Batangas. As the company behind Gundam action figures, Bandai will build the toy manufacturing facility within the 485-hectare LiMA Technology Center business park. Construction on the 10,000-square meter factory is scheduled to start this October, with operations hopefully starting within the next year.

Marcus Andre C. Ong, a marketing officer for LiMA, says the new facility will be used for manufacturing action figures, small toys that come in capsule vending machines, and other amusement items. Ong says that they are not yet able to reveal the plant’s output capacity, however all the products it does produce are for export only, with none to be used for domestic sales. That doesn’t sound very fair to action figure-collecting Gundam fans in the Philippines, does it?

The factory itself will be run by Bandai (Philippines), Inc., a new local subsidiary of the Japanese Bandai Namco Group. The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has declared the LiMA industrial park as a special economic zone, meaning companies there, which will include Bandai, can benefit from income tax holidays and exemption from duties and taxes on things like imported equipment.

I was thinking about getting the MG FA Unicorn Gundam, but I changed my mind now. I have the MG Unicorn OVA, and it's feet, arm and hand joints have become so loose, I had to put it away, before it falls over or something worse happens -.-

Anyway, just made my wishlist (not a list of kits I want to be MGfied or PGfied, for now. Will add those to the list later)

so i just got the
MG sandrock
MG Gelgoog 2.0
HG G Bouncer
for the G Bouncer i know i might be the odd man out, but i am just not a fan of the color scheme. all white isnt just for me. think about painting with different shades of blue. Hopefully it will be a success.

Not an "odd man out".. =P
I actually got the:

HG Genoce Custom
HG G-Exes
HG G-Bouncer
HG Age-2 Normal Special Ops

So, if you're an "odd man out" what would I be for getting all 4 in HG? LOL

HG Age-2 Normal Special Ops

Woah now Mr/Ms.

AGE is dog shit on a stick, but Woolf was easily the best thing that show has, not to mention his suits are totally Gundam versions of Prime Mode Ultra Magnus, you can't hate on that.

I wouldn't say that Gundam Age was a horrible anime.
It was a show directed towards children, and for us older anime fans, it gave us some feeling of nostalgia through the mecha designs.

The only problem that I had with Age was with arc 3 and this final arc. They were both rushed.

For a 49 episode series, episode 48 was noticeably rushed. They just went around killing off characters left and right, and I worry about this week's episode, which will be the final.

We don't even have a final enemy like we had with (for example) Gundam 00 where it was Ribbons.

The potential final enemies Ezelcant and Zeheart were killed...

I'm just waiting til I see the final episode before I judge the series overall. Also, maybe we'll get some announcement of a Gundam Age movie to tie up some loose ends and maybe give the series a little better ending.

Aside from that, I just want Bandai to release all the leads (and variations) in MG; be it a regular release of online exclusive. I like the mecha designs from Age. They remind me of 00 a lot (same designer I think it was), while sort of having a UC feel.

I might actually give up on Gundam and GunPla after Age.. Depending on what the next 50 episode series is. But GunPla... I am willing to wait a few years to see if Bandai finishes up the MG 00 line (fingers crossed since it seems less likely these days).... or maybe we'll see some Real Grade kits for 00...

Most people don't like how Woolf's suits are in mostly white. It's like the Unicorn Gundam, heh.

It's just an acquired taste. =P Nothing wrong with disliking or liking a mecha design. We all have our own opinions.

X207 2012-09-19 18:53

i actually liked Asemu's age2 in the white colour scheme alot. it looks so clean looking. the original color scheme is nice but its still a standard red blue white scheme. DH looks even better than white AGE 2 normal.

I just can't wait til I have the MG AGE2 Normal, Special Ops, Darkhound, and the Double Bullet displayed side by side.

X207 2012-09-19 19:48

and i just cant wait until they release the Zeydars, MS of Medel Zant. the MS designs of AGE have been unique as far as Vagan designs go but only Zeidars/Zeydars is the one i'll get when its availble. the DH is a tempting model but i dont plan to get many more kits. i have 12 completed 1 mid build and 4 to start. im 50% through a 1/100 stock color repaint of Nebula Blitz and have 144 Arios, 1.5 gundam, 144 Quanta MS with full saber kit to do. theres so many more is like to do but the time ans space arent there and i dont like to keep many unstarted. unfortuantely i always find an excuse when i have 2 backlogged and cant resist buying another one. its a bit of a sickness in a sense.

I know what you mean and I totally agree.
I have a tendecy to buy more kits than I have time to build. >_<

The same for when I buy video games. Ugh~ It sucks not having like 24-7 to just play videogames and make GunPla... It'd be nice. But that's part of life ya know?

As for me, I'm still worry about that RG Zeta coz from the official preview pics, it seems that it can't even stand on its own. So yeah, still waiting for some reviews.

Great poses, just in time for the SEED Remastered episode 39. The RG Mk.II is pretty good build IMO, way different than the previous six.

@Obelisk ze Tormentor - Still be buying RG Zeta inspite of those concerns, given the HGUC prices.:heh:

Standing issue aside, my further concern regarding RG Zeta is whether its legs are limp or not. When I saw the preview pics, those legs looks pretty limp AKA just hanging there and we can do nothing about it. It’ll be suck if it’s true, coz then even a base stand can’t help it make a good pose. Still, I’m hoping for the best coz I too want to own a good RG Zeta if Bandai can pull it off. I don’t mind if it can’t transform coz I don’t buy Gunpla for transformation gimmick (I’d buy Transformers for that).
