MG Duel Armored Shroud ACTUAL COLOR
http://blog.yahoo.com/cybergundam/articles/617968 ok im poison now |
I actually don't remember how the Duel looks like from the show anymore. :heh:
Looks cool though. |
MG Duel looks awesome all over, from boaxrt up to the model itself, both versions. Now I'm even more anticipating for MG Aegis...
|
looks nice! hoping bandai will make a common frame like the wing suits and maybe there's a chance for a strike v2.0? :D

i dun really care for ver 2.0 strike.....i only wish
Strike Lightning Pack Strike + Gunbarrel |
I wonder how similar Duel's runners to MG Age-1's "simplified" ones.

This survey was made 2010 if I'm not mistaken. I can't get why people take this survey by heart. I mean, it's an effing survey and so what if your FAVORITE isn't here? That doesn't make your favorite less awesome you know.

Noticed something wrong with this pix ?
http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/6...7926065028.jpg Yup. No more sliding gimmicks on the thighs of the legs. Proves the theory that Bandai is simplifing things and remove the non-essentials that the common people barely noticed right. For comparsion, here's how the thigh armour slided when the knee bended on the old MG Strike :- http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/9315/m6523.jpg But like I said before, who cares about that as long as the outer surface looks good and acceptable. |
While I did appreciate the sliding plate mechanisms, said mechanism has been nonexistent for MG's for the past couple of years (and many early MG's didn't have them either). However, if they can maintain the range of movement of the legs without the need for said plate moving, then there's no really reason for them to keep it.
|
Now I like the Duel even more! Shame about the thigh armor, but no biggie.
I keep looking at that colorscheme. It's well done by bandai. simple blue and white, with subtle (at least without the shroud) orange touches. |
That Duel does look more and more gorgeous every time there's new pics about it. I'm so gonna buy it. Love the simple color scheme and the un-overkill weapons.
|
it looks awesome but its a bummer that it doesnt have sliding panels.
but hey, the model looks great and the price is alright as well so who cares! and like Lowe said, MGs didnt have that feature for quite some time now. so its really not that much of a big deal. |

If the RG Gundam Mk. II still gets the sliding panels, adjustable leg joints and even debuts material tubing, whats left for the MG aside from scale?
|
see mg heavyarms, there is still sliding panels, just is hidden

AS I was lurking in our FB Group, I found this: http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u...th0103/108.jpg
Oh man, when is this? I figured that this pic was taken in year 2006? I can imagine the faces of those who hoped for this. |

Some of it's versions are sweet. |
F-90 and its variations are cool to be MGed. Still, I think F-90 has a face that is 'warped' or wrong or ugly even in better medium like the Fix Figuration.
Spoiler for 1/100 F-90:
See? |
oh god that thing has a funky face.
|
Funky makes it sound way cooler than it actually is, that is an abomination. :heh:
|
haha. it reminds me of some of those horrible drawings of rx-78's face in the original series. :)
|
It looks like the 0 gundam's face looks on the standard artwork of it.
And having way better plastic-molding techniques now probably helps... |
|
I hope that it comes with clear plastics to hold the rose bits, but knowing Bandai, I doubt that they'll do.
|
Hey, what's the cheapest place I can buy the 1/100 No Grade Avalanche Exia online if I live in the US?
Oh yea and I finally managed to sell the SD 00 kit bundle I had on my eBay store. =P I gave the guy a good price since they had no value to me. |

...Yea. So many HG kits out there that still need a MG version, and so many HG kits that have so many cool gimmicks...wtf...

http://www.gundamstoreandmore.com/ban954600.html Side question to everyone else, I really want to grab some yellow beam sabers to display with my gafran. Any one know which HG models come with them? Spoiler for example:

Well if your only after the beam saber then maybe going for something cheaper is better unless you wanted to get the The O but pretty sure the Beginning Gundam have yellow sabers and I know they are alot cheaper and better looking than the The O;)
|
You’re right Bonta Kun! HG Beginning Gundam does have yellow beam. I guess I just never put Gunpla Builders kit into consideration. :p
Spoiler for Reference for AaKkisa:
And it's a lot cheaper. :D |

Anyone else notice that in Gundam Age, episode 16 we get a Gundam Seed/Seed Destiny reference...?
He threw the beam saber like a beam boomerang... >_> And the AGE-2 Normal looks like Wing Gundam.... and the AGE-2 Double Bullet looks like 00 Raiser with Buster Rifles on the side of the wings instead of the 0 Raiser wings.. |
.
. . I ended up getting the 1/100 Avalanche Exia from GG Infinite. =) The guy is cool and I don't mind supporting him and his company. =P I suggest you guys do the same if you live in Canada or the US. |
