I'm a total newb to Gunpla, so I had a question for you more seasoned veterans.

I'm planning on getting a 00 Raiser 1/144 and I wanted know if it were possible to give it a brushed metal-esque paint job. I wanted to make the blue parts look sorta like brushed metal, if that's even possible with a plastic model, and I was wondering if it can be done and if there are examples of that type of paint job in action?

For now.

Don't think that there's nothing we do not know about.

Lots of OO-Raiser in their factory packing :-

Odd... they're actually using Ebikawa's original lineart for the first time, as opposed to the cleaned up animation lineart, which is a nice change. Wondering if the write-up says anything about the Raiser System.

And... can I have one of those 00 Raisers please? :eyespin::eyespin::eyespin:

This is the first time I see the original lineart for 00 Raiser. Definitely beautiful! It makes sense that they use the lineart here, since this version is called Designer's Color afterall

Now that I have the 1/100 HG 00 Gundam I think it does a pretty good job of portraying the anime version. For the MG I'd love to see something like a ver KA with lots of lines and stickers, just as detailed as Exia was in the images in S1.

omg that ZZ is lik awsome

vektar 2009-02-11 19:30

thats a really awesome ZZ, the coolest ive ever seen it look. If they ever do a remake like they did with Zeta they should uses something like that. the Old ZZ was way to bulky and looked a bit strange.

RAVNEN 2009-02-11 20:23

Wow,nice D Zeta mod.I think this guy must a lot of money to do this on a MG Freedom.:twitch:

all he has to do is add some weathering and brush metal work to it then it might be worth it destroying a MG like that.

MrCapcom 2009-02-11 21:38

it looks a little odd though like its un portioned or am I just a n00b meister X?

maybe some broken limbs or other parts too. It looks like Heavyarms used it as target practice. :heh:

~Destiny~ 2009-02-11 22:20

That's a 1/100 not MG. Thats why it seems unproportioned

LoweGear 2009-02-11 22:54

That's the MG actually - the opposable thumb, chopped out beam saber hilt and long feet testify to that. I think the wierdness of the model in question is due to the photography, which gives it a strange perspective for some reason.
