Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien game

[COLOR=DarkOrange]
I just recently finished watching the TV series and I loved it!^^ After reading some of the forums, i found out there was a game, but i can't seem to find it for sale anywhere. I don't care what the cost is, i must have this game. Please help me by telling me who does have it for sale. Thank you

lordwu 2004-01-27 16:46

You can check other threads on the KgNE game. I don't know if they have it in stock or not (too lazy to check) but you can try Himeya. I wouldn't really recommend you getting the game if you can't read japanese at all though.

Biohazard 2004-01-28 12:15

There is also a gameboy advanced game, but i wouldn't recommend it.
It was very disturbing, tons of japanese text and then hentai... great -_-"

Really not what i expected.

The game endings has some really mind boogling story. The best one still the True Ending, the Mitsuki's ending in anime.

fberry 2004-01-28 23:22

The game is pretty good, in my opinion. I think it predates the anime too; there are lots of animes based on these games.

I don't know where to buy it, but for information on the PC game here's the getchu link:
http://www.getchu.com/soft.phtml?id=6320
and the official site link:
http://www.age-soft.co.jp/Product/Kimibo/index.htm

Since the game is 18+, these links are not safe for work.

There are also a number of walkthroughs available:
clicky
I like this one:
http://www.ct.sakura.ne.jp/~ko-ji/ga...ien/index.html

If you know a decent amount of Japanese, and maybe have a Kanji dictionary around, you can play through the game to the endings and know what's going on, at least with the walkthroughs. You might be able to manage without, but it'll be pretty difficult.

If you haven't tried a Japanese game before, and plan to, bookmark this page:

thats a NO NO :nono:
besides they took it off already :heh:

Zephronite 2004-01-29 07:29

Nah, its still there with 5 seeds. Still going strong through the power of the anime I suppose.

fberry 2004-01-29 17:08

It's worth pointing out that there are two versions of the game; a two CD version and a DVD version released later. The DVD version is a little different. There is a walkthrough for it here:
http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/~mirai-m/kiminozodvd.htm
and another for both versions here:
http://www.geocities.co.jp/HeartLand.../kiminozo.html

The top one was previously mentioned in an earlier thread by LiCe.

Errr... I don't think there's an official True Ending for the game. Different people have their own "true endings" for themselves.

My personal favorite got to be the one where Haruka went back to coma but not before impregnated by Takayuki, and to cover it up, Akane married Takayuki so they could tell outside that it was Akane's child.

Yo dreamless.

There is no TRUE ending? weird o.O? So that mean there is some kind of ending with all the girls of the game huh? So u played the game? I still want to get it even if don't know where I can find it.... *sighs* Gotta look for a link in the forum.

Ja na!

unfunf 2004-05-06 21:25

ElvenPath 2004-05-06 21:49

Ja na!

From what I heard there IS an ending for the game which end with being with all 3 girls (Haruka, Mitsuki, Akane) together.....I believe people addressed that ending as 'Dare Mo Nozomu Eien' or something (The eternity that anyone would wish for) lol

Grandmaster Moron 2004-05-07 04:42

CAn someone pm me the torrent file.

unfunf 2004-05-07 06:58

I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt that Mitsuki's ending is the default ending for Kimi ga Nozomu Eien by these reasonings:

1) It says so in the official novels
2) It is confirmed in Akane Maniax (soon to be an OAV) which takes place after Kimi ga Nozomu Eien
3) It smacks you very hard in the face during the OP to the DVD version of Kimi ga Nozumo Eien

Is it the most accepted ending by the fans? Probably, probably not. The last time I checked Haruka was 10% more popular than Mitsuki in the general Japanese polls.

Is Arcueid's ending the true ending for Tsukihime? Yes, the writter blatantly stated so, but Kohaku's ending definetely makes more sense. What I'm saying is, don't concern too much.

Oh, and my favorite Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ending is where Akane falls into a comma, and the cycle repeats itself. You also get to see a not very flattering side of Haruka in that route.

Grandmaster Moron 2004-05-08 05:37

Does anyone know what the size of the game is. of both.

unfunf 2004-05-08 18:34

So how exactly do you play a game that is in all japanese? I'm downloading it (and I have set up my computer to work right with it), but I still am not really sure how one completes a game they cannot understand. I can understand SOME japanese when I hear it; however, I understand none of it if I try to read it.

Games of this kind of gene are usually mainly 'text game'. It's kind of like an interactive graphic novel, but you are the main character and the options that you select as the stories develope could directly affect the ending. Most of these games that are released at these recent years (this includes KGNE) have dialoge/voice acting.

But reading the stories of the game is what the game is all about (unless you are one of those people that couldn't care less about what's going on with the story and just wanting to get to the H-scenes), it's pretty pointless if you can't understand Japanese.

First, you need some knowledge of the Japanese written language. I'm not entirely proficient at it, in fact playing Kimi ga Nozomu Eien I spent a good amount of time looking up radicals and the occasional grammar form I wasn't familar with. While the game does include character dialogue, it won't help as much as you think. I believe in Kimi ga Nozomu Eien nearly 75% of the text needing to be read wasn't spoken. ^^;

In another forum there is mention of a program called Text-Hooker. I've never used this before, but it supposedly translates the text for you. Although, all reports I've heard about it say it's translations are about as accurate babel fish's. :heh:

I have to agree with Marine-RX179 that if you can't read the text, playing the game might be kind of pointless, all you'll be doing is guessing for your decisions.

Something to consider, maybe?

I can actually visualize G-Collections being pummeled with 20,000 requests to translate the game, then when they give in and do it, only 1% of the people who mailed (plus the people who buy every ero-game translated) buy it, the rest pirate. Sad...

Hell, if they do bother to translate it, I can garuntee them at least one sale. :D

It still surprises me how they pick titles to translate, but if they start picking up some of games the animes are based on it would be a good thing.

I am much more interested in seeing something like KGNE than another "tentacle" title.

Make that two :)

Their selection depends a lot on which companies are willing to license games to them. It'll be interesting to see whether or not they'll actually get enough requests to decide to go for it. And if they do, will they get the license?

nephilim 2004-05-25 20:45

HMMM... if they do translate, i'll play. I've yet to play games such as that.. played the japanese version but don't understand.. quite pointless

bluemist 2004-05-25 22:28

Sorry to say that if they do KGNE I may have to pirate. Can't be helped, I'm in their 'forbidden distribution region' (they can't distribute in Asia due to copyright purposes I don't understand). I hope I could import the game and I hope it's not illegal to do so.

I think they can license the game and it will be a big seller. Kiminozo has enough h-scenes to keep the G-collections fans happy and at the same time cater to us, the anime people who knew Kiminozo through the anime. It'll be the biggest target market they've ever had.

G-Collections can't sell to Asian countries due to contract obligations. That doesn't mean that all the other webshops who carry their products have the same problem...

You should be able to find it on several sites once its released, and there is always e-bay. :)

Just make sure it's not a bootleg version. Not much point in paying at all if the original creators haven't gotten any money for that copy.

Very true, I should clairfy. There are several software companies that have have online storefronts with e-bay, those are good places to buy. You should stick to the larger firms with high transaction counts and feedback, and watch for where they are located.

Licensed or not is the issue, software is protected despite the origin of the product, therefor even if the game isn't released outside of Japan in conventional terms, it's still piracy to have it without purchasing.

However, in this case, places such as Himeya has the game and ships outside of Japan, it just takes looking around and the ability to part with a bit of money to get it.

noodles87 2004-12-23 23:51

Does anyone know where i can find a site where they sell the legal copy for KgNE. I would really appreciate it.

DarkCntry 2004-12-24 00:09

http://shop.himeya.com has it...

There are several other sites, Getchu has it, but they do not do shipping outside of Japan.

rollwithit 2006-01-18 18:01

I imported it too... It's nasty (I HATE HENTAI!!), but it's fun to see other endings than just the one from the anime. It's funny sometimes too! ^___^

Lunny 2006-02-12 06:53

Well, sorry for my stupid question but is there any English translation for the game so far?
