No. It has never been aired in America, not have DVDs been released in any English speaking country. The subtitles were created by fans. Just for the fun of doing it and sharing it with other English speaking people who wouldn't be able to see it otherwise.

Are you referring to the anime ending like the manga, I havent see GTO so I dont know who it ended, but as stated the manga is still on-going

Anime is pretty much vols 1-8 of the manga which only a few chapters skipped over. The two ending epis were based some of vol 6 but mostly it was created by BONES to end the series. The festival itself came from the manga but Eclair was created by the people at BONES.

Yeah, I miss this series too. Also more then likely instead of a 2nd season an OVA will be put out (even tho Id rather have a 2nd season) but who knows, we can all hope for another season. ;)

Anime companies seem really really hesistant to do anything more than 2 seasons for anything other than a long running shounen series.

I may be absolutely missing something here, when they first met why did Tamaki say that Haruhi was gay, just because Haruhi shouted at 'Honey' senpai? Honey senpai only referred to Haruhi as Haru-chan which (as far as I'm concerned) is only an 'affectionate' term. What was the justification for Tamaki's comment based on Haruhi's reaction?

Most likely Haruhi was accused of being gay as they still thought he was a male and he entered the room with the host club (without realising it). A guy going to see other guys - it's really a fair call.
