Oh man...have to save up for the Gold Frame, and the possible Akatsuki, plus I have to pay the IJ and Legend back...And should i get the 1/144 Noir?...i like 1/100s...GODDAM BANDAI...they sure know how to milk money out of me!

Vallen Chaos Valiant 2006-05-18 12:37

It looks like the new Duel is taking a page from Evangelions.:heh:

The left shoulder-pad contains a throwing-knive(s?), and it looks like even the pistol is normally stored away. I am starting to like the new Duel alot, for some reason...;)
Like Infinite-Justice, I have a preference for melee units. It's almost beyond doubt the beam sword is the true primary weapon of Duel.

Oh, and the Strike Noir figure look more and more like Batman to me, don't ask me why.:heh:

EDIT: Looking at the display some more, I believe the pistol is in fact stored in the left wrist. Guess that solves the mystery of why I've never seen the pistol in other pictures before.

Oh man, I couldn't agree with you more. Fortunatelty, I haven't bought it. :D

Akyra 2006-05-18 14:21

Hmmm...what is it with Seed/Destiny and French?

Strike Rouge (red)
Strike Noir (black)
Blu Duel (blue)
Verde(green) Buster

They are all colours in french

DarkWarrior 2006-05-18 14:42

IIRC, Blu and Verde are Italian, not French.

And it's no different from the head crests in Italian.. like Freedom's DIECI.

It just means the status on their release is pending. It could possibly be the next kit after F91.

Kind of a starnge question, but since this board is visited quite often, I figure I'd post the question.
Some basic information building up to the question:
Anime Expo in Anaheim CA is going to be July 1-4 2006 at the Anaheim Convention Center
I've already submitted a proposal to do a "Gundam/resin kit model building" panel/workshop.
I'm in the process of searching out the potential responses to such a panel workshop. The rough details of such a work shop are found here: http://forums.anime-expo.org/index.php?showtopic=2364
Question is two parts: Are you planning on going to AX (Anime Expo) and if you are, would you be interested in participating in such a panel/workshop?

Sety 2006-05-19 18:38

I definitely would be interested but theres no chance of me attending for various reasons ._.

It's kind of sad that the new HGUC Zaku I has more moveable arms than that does.

That's what happens to any Grade-less large model kits. Still, there is a market for it; not everyone is willing to pay MasterGrade prices, but wants a large model anyway.

Yeah, I guess that's why they never gave it a grade. I still like mine, because it can light up....seriously guys, this kit wasn't meant for posing :heh:

I mean, a great christmas ornament. Even Dalong thought so :heh: (I have got to get me a small christmas tree and stick my SF on top lol...wings spread out...."Hey look mommy, the angel got his wings" :heh: :heh: :heh:

The_Marshal_AEB 2006-05-21 14:44

that batch is made to observe the summer cash of all the kids and adults whether they are collectors and/or modelers :D since everyone have money at the early summer to spend on anything

Prodigious 2006-05-21 15:16

Where can I find Perfect Grade Gundam models?

I haven't been into model making in a while, but some of the 1/60 scale Gundam models really caught my eye(Wing Zero Custom is :eyespin: ). Problem is that I can't find them anywhere. I realize it's probably going to cost me an easy 200 plus shipping, but all online retailers seem to be out of stock of the good models. Anyone know where I'd be able to get them(aside from Ebay)?

I'd like to pick up a Wing Zero, and possibly Strike Freedom.

DarkWarrior 2006-05-21 15:39

US only, but you seem to be located in PA so it shouldn't be a problem:

http://www.gundamstoreandmore.com/index.html

For large kits you should definitely stick to domestic stores, since Japan based online shops like Hobby Link Japan and Rainbow Ten really kill you with shipping.
