If you think about it along those lines, this game and it's success is like a giant finger to Capcom :heh:

MGR is the Strider game that was meant to be in 3D graphics, but was passed to Raiden because Capcom became a dick over the years.

Wait isn't that just the normal Wooden Sword? Does that mean the DLC just gives an already in-game weapon Snake's voice?

Nah, if you look carefully, the Snake-Sword has the characters "Snake Soul" carve on it. The normal wooden sword has "No Kill".

That DLC will be awesome. Like it how it's like a mentor to Raiden teaching him the curves. Like saying it's not over yet! Card board box Good Idea Raiden. You feel Snake is with you.

Man now knowing that I feel Raiden is so gay for Snake. He'll ask Doktor to transform himself female next time when he see's Snake. :heh:

In all seriousness, I think the damage is lacking on the wooden sword, then again it's a no kill weapon. Challenge accepted!

It starts with the old typical 'Kept you waiting uh?' When he's fighting he's saying stuff like 'not bad' and when he gets hurt 'are you alright?'

Then he says to 'Put your true heart into using the cardboard box. It's necessary to put love/passion into it. Treating it rough is not forgivable'

Last part is 'This isn't training. It's a fight that costs life and death. Theres no heroes or heroine either. Losing is a dogs death'

There's even one where Raiden consumed a nanopaste :heh: I'm guessing he was saying "Hmmm, tasty" like Naked Snake :heh:?

Wait, that was a Metal Gear catchphrase :eyespin: ? Sorry I'm not too familiar with the series so I didn't know why people were giggling when Boris said that :heh:

Solid Snake often says that. Big Boss also got to say it in the Ground Zeroes trailer. For some reason Boris also went "Kept you waiting eh?" to Raiden.

If ever there will be a game where you can play Snake and Raiden at the same time, I think it will be similar to what we saw in MGS4 and the opening prequel of MGR, Snake is a back up snipers and heavy weapons, while Raiden does the tanking and strait on attacking.

That is a game I also would love to see in a future.

Give Snake the Adam Jenson Special and he's good to go.

I hadn't thought about this before but Raiden's interactions with Bladewolf re like a mirror of the themes from Metal Gear Solid 2. In their first encounter Raiden was curious about what his thoughts involving the meaning of life but Wolf said the only meaning was killing Raiden. When Raiden defeats Wolf it starts talking about protecting freedom but Raiden states "What would an AI know about freedom?"

Looks like Raiden remembered the Patriots AI that told him he never had free will and as a result all of his actions were scripted. In Raiden's case, I think he learned in the ending of Solid 2 that he always had free will and it involved everything he did even though others told him he was just following others' will. I believe that's why he later tells Wolf to make his own conclusions if the data didn't make sense to him. Just food for thought.

Why does Boris remind me of old Snake only with black hair. Hah! :heh:
