I'm surprised this got an anime. Hoping the show is at least decently made.

I'm thinking of Production I.G animating it again ! As for the story, looks like it's going to be a mix of Medaka Box with Katanagatari's setting and visuals. Will try it.

Considering their recent track, I'm really expecting Keizou Kusakawa to direct it.

No, not necessarily. TV Tokyo 6pm is the kind of timeslot that's received 2-cour series in the past - Zegapain is an example. The most we can deduce from that is a high possibility of at least 2 cours, which is already pretty good news.

It seems half of the Production I.G's staff will animate Mushibugyo at Seven Arcs, and considering on how I.G did the CM over 1 year ago, it makes sense. It seems the show will also be Seven Arcs' first show to air on a children's timeslot, and the visuals reminds me somewhat of Nura. The cast looks pretty nice as well, and it makes me curious on how the story will develop (I'm leaning towards a semi-episodic format), how the ecchi scenes will be devolved well with or without censorship as well the theme songs. Will give a few episodes a shot.

The character design interest me but nothing solid yet. I will look into it when its been shown but aside form that. Nothing concrete yet that has shown for me to totally follow the series.

One heck of a series.. Finally getting an anime, so excited over it..

Especially i love the ending song, it's remind me of "kimi ga tame" from utawarerumono

Well well well, what do I say. I liked the OP. The episode just makes me boil in a way I want myself to, which is great.

I'll stick to this if it continues to interest me.

Well, this was very.... shounen. :heh:

I don't think we should expect great things from this show, but this episode was fun, I liked the setting, and I want to hear more of Terashima as Mugai, so I'll stick with this for a while. (And oh, how much more I like Miyano Mamoru in roles like this...)

Btw, Jinbei kept reminding me of Sengoku Basara's Sanada Yukimura. (Well, a somewhat less energetic Sanada Yukimura who actually notices women and doesn't freak out... XD)

This one has some nice comedy potential.
It kinda reminds me of that wii rpg game who's name I can't remember ^^"
Mushibugyo has a fair share of action.
Looks like it a glorified bug exterminator anime with some family drama background.
Not my thing, I dropping it.

Good fun. I doubt I'll have much to say about this show other than that. A thing I noticed about the title:

Japanese: Mushi-bu-gyou
English: [Mushi]-bug-you

And bug them they did.
