To be exact its height compares well with the AU MGs which are slightly smaller than normal, for example MG Wing kits |
i bet the high price is include the original sazabi parts + new molds
|

Hell, Build Mk.II doesn't even get much of new mold and simply get extra runners for booster Mk.II:uhoh: |

Now the question is: is Bandai crazy enough to make MG Miss Sazabi & MG Qubeley Papillon? :heh: If they decide to make MG Miss Sazabi, in particular, they'll have to use the recent Sazabi Ka's mold which would be pretty interesting :D. |
Question for people owning the 1/100 MG Age-1 Unit 2 exclusive
Does it include all parts of the MG age-1, so also the chest piece for the age device?? Probably does, but just to check. |

The rifle should be there, because it's the same runner as black chestpiece |

A pastel blue Sazabi with a modified V-fin does sound like a very nice prospect. Too bad it won't come with the long beam rifle of the MG Sazabi Ver Ka.
I for one, am glad they're releasing the Dark Matter backpack and can't wait for the K9 kit. Speaking of Qubeley, it took me this long to realize that the Lance is held like a gun lol. I was under the impression it held it like a normal lance. Looks unnnatural like Astray Noir's sword pistol. |
Quote:
I swear I've seen the lineart has it held like normal lance |
It can be held either way I believe, judging from linearts and older prototype pics
|
Oh it's just that the hilt looks too thick to be wield by standard HG hands. Looks like the trigger handle doesn't swivel in either.
And if it's wielded like a gun, it's gonna look bad when attempting to point it outstretched as the back of the lance will be obstructed by the shoulder. I guess holding it under the pits will be the only natural looking pose if held using a gun handle. |

Hindsight 20/20 Also, Fanmade impression about how a real Miss Sazabi should be Dynamic tag cannot be rendered. (PrintableThread) |

Looks like they used the MS from AGE(forgot the name) as the base for it. |
Phenex boxart just set the new gold standard for MG.
No point illustrating Banshee in there. And that fanmade Miss Sazabi looks great! I especially like the backskirt. |
Bah, Phenex just an overrated cash cow,.
That said if I have to choose between Phenex and Banshee, ugly Banshee can go away. Phenex certainly has the looks to attract collectors. |

No one notice the banshee is reversed. Having the claw weapon on the other hand?
The fan inspired miss sazabi is loads better then the real one. Too bad Bandai didn't make that instead. |

Also, it's good that Bandai is still being reasonable by not making MG Phenex an online exclusive considering how minor the changes they need to do from the basic Unicorn. Imagine the price if they made it an exclusive :uhoh:. |
Quote:
Nothing major, just different weapon loadouts at different times |
Gonna skip phenex and waiting for mg banshee norn and fa unicorn ova version

Anyone has experience with old 1/100 Victory Gundam kits? There's a sale for them and if they're good I think I'll buy a few

So the MG X looks pretty damn good. Needs a little work(v fin needs to be sanded sharper and such) but yeah it looks great. I want to run leds in under the clear purple parts so they light up, along with the chest. Dynamic tag cannot be rendered. (PrintableThread) |

The scale is also off, smaller than 1/100's you see today |
What HGUC OYW kits would you guys recommend? I can't decide on one to get, I know I want at least one though (please exclude RX-78-2, and the two classic Zakus though lol)
Right now Im leaning towards the HGUC Gelgoog Cannon, as it comes with all the parts for a normal and Cannon, and I think from the scans on the manual I can use most of both at once Any other kits you guys would recommend? |

Or a Rick Dom plus Gundam EZ-8.

If you count The 08th MS Team as OYW then I also recommend HG Gouf Flight Type. A pretty good and cool-looking kit even though it’s not from HGUC line. Oh, and it’s cheap too. Still, HGUC Mass-Produced Gelgoog/Gelgoog Cannon is one of the best choices if I have say so myself. |

Got the EZ-8 :D, Splendid kit, I display it without the parachute pack though, I don't like the crappy wire/cable attachment feature with stickers Perhaps Ill post a pic once I find time to set up a image/photobucket/imgur account and take some pictures......... Quote:
I do count 08th MS Team, as it's one of my favorite OVA's ever, and yes, I got the HG Gouf Flight Type :D, its on my backlog The main reason I asked you guys for OYW recommendations is that I wanted a OYW kit from the original TV series. just for the sake of it aside from the poster image RX-78-2 and the Zaku's |
Well, GM, like Zaku is basic of the basic, there's so many variant to choose that sometimes all that's left the same is GM head
That said, Gelgoog Jaeger is my favorite in Gelgoog lineage. |
CLASSIC
This boxart wins simply due to how simple and iconic it is, any Gundam fan can look at it and automatically know what kit they are looking at http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BTiSVFyW2t...anm1402012.jpg |

Yup. It certainly wins. |
Aside from: "Why couldn't they waited for this before releasing HG Perfect Strike!?" Its quite nice.
Still, I personally prefer the MG version (If only because its bigger to play with). Although truthfully, I am more interested in his recently released cousin from Build Fighters. |
|
Now that's a plamo we're going to get for sure...
too bad they didn't go for the complete pack of the strike... |
I shouldn't be doing this but I really wish this leads to the other GAT series since I prefer the other units over Strike by now. I like my SEED RDs but it feels plain without the panel lines and I'm not gonna start panel lining a figure either.
Dynamic tag cannot be rendered. (PrintableThread) Just wondering, any fans of Thunderbolt kits here? I just got the GM one and I'm rather surprised by the lean box. It looks like a fun build over the Zaku and Gundam ones. I'm just curious as to how the insulated limbs design would feel like. |
