i totally agree with you. I got the whole April Fool's vibe from Minoru too but i guess we'll see. Enjoy it tomorrow you Japanese speakers because losers like me wait for fansubs for the win.

Wonder what the title "Ring" means, the horror movie?

Not particularly looking forward to Akira live (w/ the recent Shiraishi rampage, I'm currently at netrual w/ LC), but I can see it being lolsauce.

Everything I predicted has come true. *Bows* Thank You. Thank You. There's a reason why I titled my blog article on episode 15 as "Lucky Staruhi Episode 15 Examination". :heh: It's interesting that everytime I think the invasion of the series is over, I'm proven wrong.

OMG just saw it on nico this episode is gold, and yeah this episode is a bit heavy on Haruhi.
Can't wait to get my hands on the raws. :D

Lots of Haruhi huh? Well thanks for the headsup. LS becoming a big Haruhi 2nd season commercial was my biggest fear 2, 3 ep. ago, guess eventually it has to come.

I really wonder what does the LS original author feel about KyoAni's toying w/ his work.

I'm worried about all the Haruhi when I catch up to it... I want to watch L*S, not ads for Haruhi!

And IMO, I would think any mangaka (except CLAMP :heh: ) would feel especially honored to have their manga become an anime, so much so that they may feel wrong about complaining.

It really isn't as bad as people are worrying about. Konata is an otaku with male tastes. All but a handful of things would be perfectly reasonable to expect to find in such a situation like a cosplay cafe with haruhi cosplay or konata having a haruhi song as her ring tone.

I think those expecting this episode to be a huge Haruhi ad, will be "disappointed"; that part is relatively short and doesn't feel that out of place.

I suspect Yoshimizu is elated and glad that KyoAni is making him rich. :) Only real income a manga-ka gets is royalties from tankouban sales. I can imagine what's happening to L*S manga sales right now. Aside from the OL references, I believe as an otaku he's loving all those ota-references. Like I've said before, Haruhi is family. L*S plugging Haruhi is normal and fits the story.

OMG, the best L*S episode, ever. Every characters introduced so far made an appearance (oh, exept Yui, too bad), and a new character. And supprisingly L*C and the ED was superb :D.
