So, why do IS supposedly only work for women?

How many episodes for this series?

Only 2 episodes released from a serie of 12.

Is the order the girls run after Ichika in the ED in each episode possibly indicating who's the closest to him? Of course I only mean for each respective episode as the order can change, or at least it did before.

Just to confirm, what's the difference between massproduction and personal IS again? Was it just settings, or do masspro's have no cores or something, allowing them to be produced in large numbers?

Qusetion i think some on the earlier post said that Ichika and Chiyufu were abandoned by thier parents? any info you took careful of the siblings??

second kinda trivial In the world of IS being the women are more dominant gender if she gets married will the man have her surname ??

@kaizerknight01, it's only from tradition that the women takes the mans surname. It happens very rarely but if you have a really shitty surname you can do it the other way. In the case of the anime... probably not. We're talking only military might.
They all have cores, mass production is just a generic model while personal are personal, ie. custom fit for certain talents.

Question: Do we have confirmation that ALL women can pilot IS? Or is the "only" more "the only ones who've managed were women".

Was the "White Knight Incident" ever discussed in detail in the anime?

With this amount of production quality, I'm not surprised. At least we can expect a S2 given the popularity of the show.

Question: Is ep 3 onward following the trend of the first two episodes?

How many episodes are expected for this series? Will there be seasons to it too?

most likely the usual 1-cour/12 eps set.
as for 2nd season, I dunno... IS seems to be the 2nd most popular show of winter 2011, right after Madoka. Considering the novels are still on-going (and that they got a considerable boost in sales thanks to the anime), I say a second season is likely.

Good, because I'm really looking forward to this series having longevity. As well as alternate endings, if he ends up with someone. XD

I hate to ask this but why Ichika often joked as a siscon?

It originally started off as a joke due to Ichika's constant admiration of his sister Chifuyu (ie. "I sure am glad to have the world's best sister!" - Ichika . Ep 2), but since Episode 9 where Charlotte called him out on it after the way he reacted to seeing Chifuyu in a swimsuit, it seems that he might very well have a genuine sister complex.
