Got a question for the Novel readers;

Ever since the Albion war, did Siesta get any important role/development?

Ya, the Siesta X Louise route is visibly opened up...

-She ends up becoming Saito's maid.
-Snaps Louise from her suicidal state
-And... the books she read at times...?
That's all I can remember clearly that are stand-out developments...
The rest of her roles is basically romance with Saito, trying to seduce Saito, normal days with Saito (and Louise), the normal stuff.

Her role has been nothing to little recently, since the past volume or two have been focused in Romaria. :sad::sad:

Okay, the possibly isn't 0 now, but no...

It would make things interesting if Siesta was to be the last Familiar.

The reason I asked was because... Well, in every one of the recent summaries, Siesta seems to have been left out alot (Or even completely) :sad: And with the slaughtering of her character in the anime, I was worry about her being shafted here as well =_=

But hey, at least there's that much :heh: (... >.>)

While it would be interesting, I hope (a lot) that this won't happen.
-For one thing, I prefer she doesn't get caught in the middle of this carnage.
-For another, if she does become a legendary familiar, that slimy pope and Julio would try something...
-For another, becoming one would be like a possible death flag.
-I don't think she is suited for such a (possibly) cruel job...
-Siesta is Saito's (or mine). I won't stand for her to be Tiffania's...

Yeah...
But then again, that's a good thing. Normal is good, in Siesta's case. It's always fun reading scenes with or focusing on her. It never gets horribly depressing, often funny or cute, and she really is a great girl (compared to, let's say, abusing Louise, idiot queen Henrietta who manages to half-kill Saito times and times, emo Agnes, overly proud Montmorency, various problems Tabitha, flirting with many guys-now with Colbert Kirche, etc.)

Maybe in the next volume......

Well if you put it that way, I feel better for her already... In a way, she plays the same role as Shirley from CG :nod:

It would, but then again, it remains to be seen who her contractor would be.

So Siesta role is the in between girl lol... even though i like her i dont want her be with saito....it would kill the entire show....having her as the in between girl fits her perfectly...i just hope by the end of the show Louise loosens up with the abuse cuz that sometimes kills it for me...

Speak for yourself serenade. I personally find Louise/Saito moments much more interesting and cute (if mood is right) than anything that Siesta can offer.

I still like Siesta, but after Louise (obviously) and Tabitha. She is still ten times more interesting than Henrietta or Agnes of course. Or Tiffania for that mater.

I too am a Louise X Saito fan. Screw Siesta.

That's what I really want to read as I know how much the anime stuffed that arc of the story up from reading sushi's and other people's summaries of those sections.

As for the rest of the novel, I'm a down to earth guy maybe middle of next year they'll be done?

Also do they ship volume 1 of the translated novel to australia when it comes out?

Love this light novel and really grateful that someone is translating it.

I just finished the second season and I was planning to read some of the translated parts of the novel.. what chapters should i reaD? =o

^^^all of them...reading it way more fulfilling...and its more in depth...

Yes all of them once you start reading the novel you'll notice the difference between the anime and the novel straight away and i mean straight away!

hm ok i'll try and read the fully translated chapters by baka-tsuki.. argh too bad volume 8 hasnt been translated yet.. i heard the anime left out alot of stuff X_X

I know!! Volume 8 is what i'm anticipating for cause of all drama i hear will happen in it. The other chapters are good but i'll die happy on the day i can read that volume:heh:.

All volumes are important, anime did change quite a few things in all of them, yes they totally screwed up volume 8 trying to put a whole book in 4 minute ending, but don't be willing to jump straight to it. even the volumes that had more attention from animes are different and quite interesting by themselves...

Plus we had one one discussion like that on B-T (skipping ahead) and it drove one of our translators (Momogan) away as when people are asking to skip it, makes it rather discouraging for some of the translations. Juts be patient.

Hopefully we will get more translators to increase speed.
