Its based on a manga thats serialized in the seinen(young men's) manga magazine Sunday GX (Sunday Gene-X).

It means "A story of poor sisters". Basically. :p

That "shimai" thing is composed from the 2 kanji "ane" (the same as oneesan), or big sister and "imôto", little sister.

Seinen moe~ anime gets treated well Yay :D
So detailed :eek: Yay :D now i'm really excited :)

Is this going to be on par with the quality of the seinen moe~ anime Kamichu! ? I really really hope so >.<

Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself >.< I guess we'll have to wait and see the first episode to know.

Anyway someone told me (I'm still not sure about this) that its going to be only 10 episodes >.< (Could it be like Kamichu!; by that I mean there will be more episodes that will be released only on DVD).

This is Toei animation. Which means, thick lines.

At best I can hope for Interlude quality, but something like Kamichu, or heck even Koi Kaze / Someday's Dreamers / Haibane Renmei or other soft-style anime?

The first five chapters of the seinen manga has been translated by Kotonoha group.

thanks Neosam, I even thought this title won't come out in this year ^^;; I just feel it would be better if I don't read the manga before the anime this time around.The web site was updated alot, the last time I saw there was just one jpeg picture. http://cal.syoboi.jp/tid/930 is out but where are the episode titles =( ???

Kamichu on a budget, it is...(well the trailer quality sucks anyway...who knows)

I think that looked great :) (maybe the trailer quality sucked >.< )

Anyone that likes slice of life seinen drama, will love this anime :)

I don't know, it's kind of hard to say anything about it from that trailer. There's so little to it.

That aside, it sounds like the kind of thing I'd enjoy. I'll definitely check it out if someone subs it(I think one or two groups are planning to).

Twin Spica without the scifi themes? Or maybe not as sad as that. Well, it is moe and slice of life, so count me in.
