The last series I watched that had a fairytale motif going for it, I enjoyed, and this seems to have a nice blend of quirkiness and strong girls. Now to wait for...almost all of the information.

The protagonist is female, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a shounen(boy's) light novel series.

There are many male oriented light novels with protagonists that are female.

This seems intruiging. A nice cast of cute girls for a shounen series, and the artwork is really nice. And a female protagonist is a big plus in my book, just because they're not too common outside of magical-girl type stories or shoujo. I would really love a brief description of the plot if anyone can!!

Animation will be done by JC Staff, direction done by Yoshiaki Iwasaki, whose past work leaves me with an attitude toward this series best described as "optimistically cautious".

FTR, it does - Morino Ryoushi. There are basically three co-leads, two girls and a boy.

The anime will start broadcast in July 2010.

Sweet, we finally got a date. The summary looks really interesting.

This is pretty much the vibe I get from this too. Base on the novel titles this looks like a series of arcs with related characters, which makes me worry how long this series will be since if too short a time slot might ruin the central plotline (which I hope it has one at least). I hope it's 24 episodes.

Have to say, a taller and more mature looking Taiga is really attractive. Especially if she has Hinagiku's voice (sounded like it might have been similar, especially since it's the same VA, but hard to tell over the crowd).
