No.. please, i love to see what people do with my tutorial. The airmaster one is cool. but for the pita ten one, its kinda small, read my extended tutorial for how to do fancy stuff too :)

Moon The Cat 2003-11-13 01:32

YAY! I will soon make my sig from Samurai Deeper Kyo.

Captain K 2003-11-13 02:34

So what are some other tricks for reducing filesize? I still can't see how you made that Gai Sensei gif so small :P even dropping to 32 colors or so I can't fit nearly that many frames.

I didn't really get anything else specifically regarding filesize from your extended tutorial--maybe I missed something?

Uzumaki626 2003-11-13 03:14

Borders make it smaller, making the whole image smaller, reducing colors and deleting frames, also the Lossy feature drops filesize. If that doesnt work you might as well just ask it politely to size itself under 50k :heh:

Captain K 2003-11-13 23:11

I guess what it boils down to is you are clearly the man when it comes to making avatars :D

Keep up the good work

Uzumaki626 2003-11-14 00:52

lol thanks :)

Uzumaki626 2003-11-15 20:41

*Bump* People wont really see this unless its on the first page :p

Captain K 2003-11-15 21:11

I can't seem to find a way to open a file encoded with XviD in Virtual Dub--is there any codec out there that works for this?

Note: I can play back those files just fine... just can't open 'em in Virtual Dub.

Uzumaki626 2003-11-15 22:41

Im not sure about this one, it opens all my Xvid files fine. Try installing the latest version of Divx then try to open it again

Enigma 2003-11-16 01:57

Captain K I ran into the same problem. In my case it wouldn't load up any of the Green Green episodes from aone. I tried installing the latest version of Divx like Uzumaki said and it resolved the problem

Also thanks a lot for tutorial Uzumaki, it was really easy to understand and follow.

Neoelement 2003-11-17 00:04

Ok, i may sound like a newb, mainly because im one in these arts stuff, but what is ImageReady? >_< and how does one aquire it?

because i have photoshop 7 and that is about the limit of my knowledge, so a little help would be very thoughtful ^_^

Uzumaki626 2003-11-17 00:22

If you have Photoshop you probably have ImageReady. When u go to start->prog files -> adobe do you see a "Adobe ImageReady"? If not, you have to buy it. Unless you obtain it illegally somehow.

Neoelement 2003-11-17 00:33

woah crazy and i didnt know i had lol
as i said, im a nub

Uzumaki626 2003-11-18 03:17

No worries, I started out not knowing why i even had Imageready.

So dont be afraid to post your questions here, even if they are beginner questions they still deserve to be answered

ZGMF-10A 2003-11-19 00:41

anyone know why i can't virtual dub ...... i download the file but there is no install thing...... it's in a file and i extracted it but i still can't install it.... :(

Uzumaki626 2003-11-20 00:20

im using an old verison of v-dub, the version i got, all it needed to do was extract it and boom there was the program, no installation needed, i just ran VirtualDub.exe and it started

KageSennin 2003-12-01 23:17

What other programs are good for making the GIFs b/c I don't have ImageReady, and I don't feel like paying for it. Right now I have Flash, but the GIF doesn't allow you to change it to 28fps, and Xara X, but using that would take FOREVER!!! Plz help:help:, thx.
