That Brocon Scene and That~

Disappointed with how they animated Gram Demolition. Otherwise it was ok I guess.

well always enjoyed tatsuya in action so i liked this ep but next ep is going to be asskicking!! he's gonna pwn them!

Pretty good episode. Finally we got one that wasn't overloaded with praising Tatsuya (in fact, I wouldn't really count anything in this episode as praising him), plus Miyuki is still on her yandere-free streak, so things are looking up. If they keep up like this, we could be seeing a strong second half.

I was planning on watching the episode again later with hubby but I'm also going to have to watch again for me. I had trouble telling who was who during the Monolith competitions. Every one looked the same in their combat gear. :(

That was hilarious. Miyuki is so far from having any room to point fingers.

I would call this episode a step up. The action was at least moderately interesting, and they didn't spend all their time having Tatsuya steal praise that belonged to other people.

Nothing wrong with Miyuki calling out Erika. It's not like she was condemning her for it or anything. Could even go back to the old school "Takes one to know one" line.

Also thought it was a good ep...nice to see Mikihiko step up and strur his stuff, too. ^^

Now the second Brocon of the series has revealed herself.

The action was good and now the stage is set for Tatsuya and Suzaku.

I like how those idiots think that Tatsuya's only ability is Gram Demolition and that his psion disruption is incapable of knocking out opponents. I can't wait to see them eat crow.

It's like they've never heard of someone holding back to avoid giving away his full capabilities before.

Looks like they think he was good physical skills, but he doesn't have a lot of magic power so he has to rely on gimmicky magic techniques to pull him through a competition which doesn't allow for physical combat.

.... which is actually correct. They just don't realize that he was a few more tricks up his sleeve.

Huh, wish Crunchyroll would keep their naming conventions consistent, instead of calling Gram Demolition "Spell Dismantling" in a few places and Gram Demolition in others.

Erika squealing from being revealed was hilarious though. :heh:

That win siren makes me think that they're considering their wins a disaster too. :heh:

Spell dismantling is a descriptive term for Gram Demolition, not a name. It tells you what it does.

It is, but you can hear them say "Gram Demolition" when it's not mentioned in the translation text below.

Is it weird that I'm rooting for Third High? I mean...even though I know that they'll likely get beaten (as is the pattern for this series), I still kinda want them to win...:heh:

Erika's retort after being called a bro-con was just so...cathartic for some reason. :p

I wanted the people reacting to tatsuya using gram to have some kind of discussion about just who could use such a spell. Since it seemed so amazing to them.

This leads me to conclude that you must be a yaoi-fan. :p
