We'll probably see an MG treatment within a year or two. If I can recall correctly, when SEED began airing on 2002, we saw an MG Strike immediately a year after(2003). And in 2005, when SEED Destiny debuted, an MG Strike Freedom came rolling in 2006. So we might see an MG Exia next year(or earlier, if we're lucky).

yeah, but it took almost a decade to get a MG Turn A. I suppose this comes down to whether 00 gets translated and popular in the US.

Destiny started in 2004, not 2005. So MG Strike came right after SEED finished airing, and MG Strike Freedom was released just over a year after Destiny finished airing.

I don't think Gundam's popularity in the US has anything to do with it. Gundam is dead in the US, and has been for awhile.

OMG!
I'm really reconsidering whether I should start buying 1/44 HGs now after seeing the Zwei...

Can someone tell me the difference between HG and a 1/100 Non-grade? Is a 1/44 HG more detailed than a 1/00 non-grade? A little curious. Thanks.

beamknight87 2008-02-14 19:19

hey that sword looks pretty badass.... but bet it requires a lot of painting to make it look it like that jojo >_<

Astrana 2008-02-14 20:49

Look closer, one is the HG 1/144 Model Kit. The other is an MSiA line Action Figure.

LightningZERO 2008-02-14 22:37

It seems that it has no Fang parts...

At least the under-the-skirt shot of the Zwei confirms that it can be connected to the Enis. Notice the small wire with the connector in that photo.

And the Enis shot below :-

Is it just me or does the head/chest seem off proportion?

Hey Sciel,
Just another question in regards to Exia..
Are there any loose parts besides the swords you mentioned? Are the leg joints loose? Anything that I should know of?

Sciel 2008-02-15 04:52

The leg hip joints are slightly loose but it doesn't really seem to hinder poseability . The only other problem i can think off is the optional hip parts that hold the GN Long and short blades .

Pic of it : http://www.dalong.net/review/00/0101/th/s_0101_36.jpg

Its actually a bit on the loose side and falls off sometimes . Also with these parts sometimes get in the way of posing and will clip the back of exia's "skirt" when you try to position the legs .
