Pls give comments or critisisms to improve my work!

LightningZERO 2008-01-07 04:56

Wow. Nice to see that the legs can now bend after the mod. I probably won't mod mine when I get it, modding is too difficult for me :D

So how's the transformations for Unicorn?

duotiga 2008-01-07 07:25

my unicorn shld be coming this wk.... :D

looking forward to it & HGUC Re-GZ (which i find much better than 1/100 Kyrios)

dodgethis_sg 2008-01-07 09:51

I'll take the sign with the Unicorn MS girl instead, please.

Darth Atma 2008-01-07 10:19

MG Turn-A at 1,200 yen!!!
I, who will NOT buy this kit, have to reconsider because of the price.

P.S. The Unicorn-tan, SOOOOOOO CUTE!

Too bad the link is not working. I really want to see how you modded the knee.

WaytoDawn 2008-01-08 02:28

The transformation of unicorn is...complicated but nice. You may find yourself sometimes forgeting to transform a certain part.
Regarding the link, it works fine for me. Here is the link again.
http://plamo.outthere.info/forum/sho...d.php?tid=3286

If it still dosen't work, just go to plamo and head for the finish line section. There is only one unicorn there. You won't miss it.

LightningZERO 2008-01-09 06:10

Virtue's pretty expensive, so I hope the cast off feature will be good

MG Turn-A at 1200 yen.

Can I get the Turn A online for that price?! Actually, does that price "trickle" down to HK?

duotiga 2008-01-09 07:07

Feb is the mth of kits

-----------------------------------------------------------------

From Hobby Search:
Strike E + IWSP (Lukas O'Donnell custom) - February, 4,725 yen
HG CGUE (Xist Elwes custom) - February, 1,260 yen
HG Kerberos BuCUE Hound (Alec Ladd custom) - February, 1,575 yen
1/100 Gundam Virtue/Gundam Nadleeh - March, 4,200 yen
HG Gundam Throne Eins - February, 1,680 yen
HG Tieren Space Type - February, 1,575 yen
MG Nu Gundam (Metallic Coating ver.) - February, 8,925 yen

LightningZERO 2008-01-09 09:01

And I'm not getting any of them :p

duckroll 2008-01-09 10:24

I got my Unicorn today. Completed the chest/torso. It's a very fun kit, but because of the nature of the transformation it's rather intricite and there usually quite a few tiny pieces that make up just a small part. It's going to take me a while, but I'm definitely very happy with it. ^_^

LightningZERO 2008-01-09 11:13

I have to wait till my college exam finishes before I can purchase it. Hope for some review soon :D

Darth Atma 2008-01-09 11:34

Nah! MG Nu ver 2.0 please...:eyebrow: This old design bothered me!
That 1/100 Virtue with casting-off gimmick, more expensive than many MG kits...

Copy Ninja Kakashi 2008-01-09 12:48

Whoo the 1/100 Virtue is way to expensive, you can get a MG for that price. Ok you get "two" MS for that price, but you can only display one at the time.....

duotiga 2008-01-09 17:57

Further bits from Hobby Shop Midori...

BB Senshi Kakouton Giros - February, 525 yen

A new Sangokuden promo video is coming in February. Another pic mentions an upcoming First Grade-related 00 Campaign in which you can get an otherwise unobtainable 0 Gundam plamodel but details are yet to be revealed.

It's not like they aren't doing new MG's as well as the new colours. Unicorn only came out last month and it was a new MG. Bandai seem to be varying between the 2 atm.

LOL. Green is for GN particle? :heh:

The G3 vs Rick Dom sounds nice though

Sir Dearka 2008-01-10 22:02

If they're releasing so many customs, then I want a HG 1/144 Goud Vair red Ginn custom. Or HG 1/100 Zaku Blaze Phantom Dearka Custom :P

I ceased to wish for the Master Grade Buster Gundam a long time ago, but I'd be pleased to see a MG Infinity Justice.

Maybe in the new SEED movie Dearka shall have this kickass new Buster version that shall be immidiatelly released as MG :P Well, one has to have something to dream about, doesn't he? :D

yeah, I know about Unicorn. But apart from that the rest in between are all different colour zaku or coating or custom version of old MG.

I think they are too busy raking in money from the gundam 00 "low" grade kits

Huh? From Dec 2006 to Dec 2007, they released 10 MG models (#93 to #102), and 6 of them are brand new models (Strike Freedom, Hi-Nu, Strike Noir, Turn-A, Destiny, Unicorn). Even if you don't want to count the Strike Noir, that's half their output being original MGs and half being re-color/customs/tweaks. That's pretty solid output considering how much effort it takes to engineer and design a MG model from stratch. Surely you don't expect 10 totally original MGs per year? In 12 years, we've only gotten 100 MG models, so think about that for a moment.

aikming 2008-01-11 10:30

Hmm.. good info. thanks.

Thanks guys. I indeed still don't have a 1/144 Buster. But before that I'm thinking of buying the Verde Buster. I might have to buy a Hyper Mode Zaku Blaze Phantom, First Grade Buster and HG 1/144 version. I'll round it up with the Elthman trading figure in the green suit I saw in one of the sets and I think that I shall basically have every important Dearka toy. :heh:

beamknight87 2008-01-12 19:48

sup? I happen to be on Vancouver and a friend of mine showed me the Gundam Workshop store. Sadly, I didn't had any money, but there was Unicorn, Hi-Nu and more awesome stuff being the Sazabi, the most expensive Gundam kit (100 bucks) and going downhill from there. I think the next Friday I'll pass by to get that Hi and Unicorn (80 and 60 bucks) :D

theOtherGuy 2008-01-12 21:56

A Hi-Nu for $80? Can't you get it for cheaper?

beamknight87 2008-01-12 22:08

well, at least it is cheaper than if I ordered it from where I live (Mexico), since the cost due to the shipping increased up to almost 100 bucks >_<

Lol, I live in Vancouver and I frequently visit that store. The prices labeled are already tax included, so its cheaper than any of the store in and around Greater Vancouver. I just got my Custom Flag (14 bucks CAD) today, and I’m still saving up for Unicorn. :P

How much do the 1/100 00 kits and unicorn cost at there anyway?
